Paramedicine students work faster, but make more mistakes, when they’re working on patients with realistic wounds and fake blood according to ECU School of Medical and Health Sciences Lecturer Dr Brennen Mills. Another key finding is that in the moulage training scenarios, students remember their mistakes a lot better and are far less likely to repeat them.
