Loved your video. I’m a AZ fan myself so watching this gave me a lot of joy. And just to confirm, yes you butchered almost every name, but for me it only made the video better. Thank you! ❤
Just an idea for a future moneyball vid. When you use moneyball in Norway, can you use Aalesunds fk (AAFK)? The last time we won a trophy was in 2011, so can you win something with them?
Can you do this but with an poor Asian club, South American or African? Would like to see if you can turn one of these clubs the richest and most successful in the region. But picking also very "not so good" leagues.
If you do end up doing Romania. I'd recommend Farul Constanta. Owned by the Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi and they've the best academy (produced mazilu for example). Also just so you know. FCSB aren't called Steaua anymore. It's a long story but there's a phoenix club Called Steaua Bucuresti in the 2nd division.
Same as Crisspanda1 - I'd love to see you actually find these players. (I know you said about video length) but in all honesty, this video could also be an ''obscure wonderkids rebuild'' and I wouldn't think any different. No hate here, genuinely love your content. If you want a way around video length - could you maybe do a 2 season series - You take over a recently relegated team - use moneyball to rebuild them, and then do another season after that to keep them in the league (if you get them promoted?)
Hey mate great vid, if you ever do a save in Serbia you could do a team called Vojvodina. We produced talents like dusan tadic, vanja milinkovic savic, sergej milinkovic savic, sinisa mihajlovic... We haven't won a league tittle since 1989, i think that it would be a fun save :) Keep up the good work!
4:24 genuinely had to google Almere City because I’d never heard of them before-and that’s coming from someone who’s fairly familiar with Dutch football. Turns out they got promoted via the playoffs in the 22/23 season
PS I love the fact that you are trying to win a UCL with teams from all the European countries. I’m currently studying abroad in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 at the moment and unlike the rest of its central Asian neighbors who play in Asia, Kazakhstan is part of UEFA. Historically I believe the capital city of Astana is the current record holder with 7 domestic league title and they’ve also occasionally made it into European competitions like the early rounds of the UCL occasionally. However, if and when you get to playing a club Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, I highly recommend Almaty’s team FC Kairat for a few reasons-1 they have really good training facilities on FM for a club of their size and 2, their fan base is incredible. The most recognizable player to play for Kairat is probably Andrey Arshavin, who also played for Zenit in Russia and Arsenal in the prem. If you were able to unseat the likes of Astana and Aktobe, you’d still have your work cut out for you in terms of making it to the latter stages of the UCL from a country like Kazakhstan.
i think you should start with steaua bucharest (fcsb) because they are former ucl winners and they reached another ucl final which they lost to ac milan. it would be a great rebuild imo since we re also trying to win the title this season after a cold streak
@@KempiXIIf you want to do a moneyball rebuild with Steaua, do not pick FCSB. There is a whole trial in Romania about the fact that FCSB is not Steaua Bucharest and that they stole the identity of Steaua for many years. Right now, the justice system in Romania said that FCSB is a team created in 2003 and they only have the trophies from then on. Football Manager recognizes that and, in the game, Steaua Bucuresti is in the second division in Romania and if you look at their trophies you will see the 1986 Champions League. FCSB is a fraud.
