I used to live in Nashville. country music is one of the toughest genres and country fans are harsh critics. if it's not real country, it will come across and true country fans will be pissed. country fans aren't always welcomed to pop in country.

Well, I personally think the American producers were totally condescending. Not so much that they seemed to disregard other types of music, it's more like they were discrediting westlife's effort cuz they are foreign. Well, guess that's unavoidable, national pride is hard to shake off.

i was thinking the exact thing, i dont mind country each to their own.
