With Artec 3D scanners, of course you can.
As a proof of concept for employing 3D scanning technology to digitally capture large objects such as helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, one of Luxembourg Air Rescue’s McDonnell-Douglas MD-902 Explorers was 3D scanned with two of the latest professional 3D scanners: the handheld Artec Leo and the tripod-mounted Artec Ray. In less than 11 hours, the entire helicopter was captured in high-resolution color 3D. The resulting 3D model is ready for a variety of applications, including inspection, reverse engineering, aerodynamic analyses (CFD), CGI, and more.

whats the difference between Artec Space Spider and Geomagic Design X

The main difference is that Artec Space Spider is a 3D scanning hardware used to capture the geometry of physical objects, while Geomagic Design X is a software that takes that captured 3D data and allows you to create usable digital models, typically for engineering purposes.
