You could have used knife trick instead, which scorches enemies. There's a fragment that makes your dodge recharge faster when you scorch enemies, and you can use ophidia spathe instead, which will allow you get get 2 knives with a single dodge. With that setup, you can basically get almost infinite knives even when you don't kill enemies, and also the scorch and ignitions will help a lot on dealing with tankier targets.
Rylee is a wonderful content creator who hasn't lost his soul and heart like many of the prime creators have. He is creative with his commentary and clever with jokes and references. What you've basically done with this style of videos is refresh content like a good movie with director commentary. This is skillful and puts you in a different tier than those complaining about a lack of new content to make videos about or reading a twab. Respect Rylee
That mid way montage of just… walking through locations. With one of the most calm and awe inspiring tracks in the game. Brings a tear to my eye. For all of its faults, destiny is a beautiful game and such an experience. When you’re not focused on the light grind it’s just… something else

It's adorable that he doesn't know even at the beginning of the New Light quest you can go into your collections and pull out any sparrow/ship you want for a few legendary shards and some glimmer.

Thanks for that scenic montage. I find myself so caught up in patrols, bounties, and weekly stories, that I often forget to slow down and enjoy the artists' hard work. I often think of it, but never really take the time to appreciate it. Unlike Halo Reach, my brother and I would replay the campaign, or go into Forge, and explore the maps. Now, I'm mostly exploring menus.
Not one minute into this and already heard the word "chucklenuts" which caused me to instinctively flintch at the non existent flashbang grenade that was about to be attached to my forehead.
Rarely see people do melee/power only in this game anymore, nice to see this style hasn't died out. I myself play with the fire key unbound, make you think outside the box.

I hardly ever subscribe after one video but this man deserves it. This is a great video, it's well crafted, had good content, and it was genuinely funny. On a side note, in case you hadn't considered it Calibans hand and the proximity explosive knife plus a few specific fragments is also quite fun!

By far, Beyond Light, has the most beautiful and relaxing music. Everyone of them is my favorite. The music with the environment is just..... perfection. I use the sound track to help me sleep because of how calming it is.

Throwing knives getting the radiant loop has been my favorite thing about Solar 3.0. Especially with Athrys's Embrace and Caliban's hand, I'm just switching between proximity knives and weighted knives depending on the density of enemies. so so much fun.
Caliban's is GOATED. I got it a few days into the season and have yet to take it off. Made me laugh how many people were calling it trash and yet I was running around destroying absolutely everything with a well executed knife throw. I almost wish it wasn't "fixed" because it forced me to engage in gunplay to weaken enemies and then I had to make sure they died to the knife. A little bit of set up for a big pay off felt good... now it just feels cheap and too easy. Literally ZERO downside to using it to the point that I expect a nerf coming.

Love the scenic clip in the middle. Perfect with the music. But I do have to say, you can just pull a sparrow from the collections then use that. It's so much simpler. You didn't have to run everywhere
challenge idea: can "I beat X campaign with only the Vesper of Radius/Bombardiers/Kephris horn" (all damaging class ability exotics for each class) also I have been subbed for a while and you never disappoint, love the content keep it up
I really liked this. I really liked the Beyond Light campaign. Probably because im a Fallen fanboy. Would love to find a fireteam to do finally play deep stone crypt.
Deep stone lullaby hit at the perfect moment during that raid. Once I stepped outside for the first time I was blown away. Easily one of my top moments inside of Destiny.
In future runs that don’t require weapons you should use mida multi and mini for the movement. Idk if this isn’t done for content but definitely recommend
As soon as the deep stone melody started I was like (god damn not agian not the tears it’s hitin me harder then rulks kicks to the balls) and all my memories of my D1 and D2 journey came flowing back like lightning
I think you'd have had more fun with the proximity knives, they got some dummy tracking (think briefcases in Hitman level of goofy), deal good damage, and the secondary explosion applies scorch, and does good damage. However, the gameplay cycle with them isn't as good due to some bugs.

6:57 As a Hunter main on controller, that's a common thing that happens. It's odd to explain, but essentially your aim assist will sometimes disable on the knife.
Fun fact: if you had ophida spate on during the stasis possession modes you would get 4 shurikens. It's the only times I know of that it works for stasis melee
That's funny as hell. Makes me wonder why stasis possession interacts differently with the exotic than the subclass does. I mean, a shuriken is just a circular shaped throwing knife!
Feel like middle tree striker with skullfort would’ve been a good call for this challenge so you won’t have to hit a headshot with every knife but I guess this works
