Lil’ Tip: Use a Shield. 🛡️ In combat, remember to keep your shield up and facing your enemies, ready to block anything. Also, be ready to bash enemies with your shield when they get too close or you need to stun them or get their weapon out of the way. Note that, at least from my experience, fireballs from Eraden Kingdom and Eye mages knock your shield out of your hands, so try to dodge or parry those with your weapon. Also, you can use a shield to reflect Eye mages’ thunderbolt attacks, instantly stunning or even killing them.
the true ultimate challenge would be no weapons, no healing, & no armour on top of allat. would be excruciatingly difficult, but still lol also some extra restrictions would be to always do the hardest possible outpost & to kill every enemy possible (to prevent cheesing it with stealth)
Agreed, the fireball needs to be nerfed. I actually dont use fire on permadeath runs because of how dangerous the meteor is when using it and btw, hectors meteor can hit you through walls
now im tempted to do this challenge, i could let you know how many tries it takes me, maybe record them and send you the recordings? Idk if that's something you would wanna watch but maybe?
@@sunset_shimmer7 I probably won’t watch through the raw recordings, but if you wanted to make a video on your channel and send me the link I’d be happy to check it out :)
@@sunset_shimmer7 Just take it slow and have fun with it. I'd recommend Davinci Resolve because it's free and super powerful, but it might take a while to learn. Just watch some tutorials and experiment around until you start feeling comfortable with it :) And yes, OBS is great.
hey, me again, but out of curiosity, since im gonna try to speedrun my current modded permadeath (abt halfway through) and then im gonna try the ultimate challenge unmodded, how would you recommend editing my vids? since ive never done this before
@@sunset_shimmer7 I personally write a script, record it and then match the footage to what I’m saying. Not a bad start if you want your voice in it, otherwise just leave in the interesting bits that add to the story and progression :)
@@sunset_shimmer7 Yep exactly that, making it entertaining and so viewers know what’s going on. Depends on how long the recording is. Anywhere from 10-25 minutes usually
As a little tip, when you heal with a potion you can take tiny sips and it saves you so much liquid. I think you can go 3 full heals from red with a single potion if you just take *tiny* sips instead of chugging and pouring it down your throat
I thought they changed the way it works though, to be more fluid (pun intended lol)? Because it actually shows you a fill bar when drinking, and it *only* moves when you also heal a small chunk. So idk if that works but would be interested in more info if it does.
You're definitely getting better. I recommend playing more defensively. You are going for attacks that are risky. Also: get better at stabbing, it's very useful for getting fast kills and killing armored enemies.
a very good tip just crouch and hit the enemy in the leg 3 things can happen 1. they die cuz u removed the leg 2. They fall so u can kill them 3. they get destabilized
