@@WhySoSeriousGMguess im lucky but so far i got 2 legendaries and a corrosive bearcat at lvl 53. Played the game for so long and the drops happened years ago but i remember every ine or them
The train at tundra express does in fact kill you if you stand under it. I've been doing it for a while because it's fun acting like nothing could go wrong than BAM, I get crushed by a train cart
Tried This Challenge and am now 150k in debt with Moxxi and have been barred for life, apparently shooting the machines for luck is "bad for business" and gives customers "severe panic attacks" but whatever...
I love the miniscule amount of "funny" editing that most challenge run videos have. To me, that makes watching your videos so much more enjoyable. And your commentary makes it even more so
So crazy how often he gets a gub cuz I just finished a new Salvador playthrough and not once did I get one to drop but I get 2 pearls while farming the wildlife exploitation (never gotten a legit pearl before)
I remember playing with my friend and we were just messing around in sanctuary. I decided f*** it let me hit this slot machine. This was early game. I think around level 11. And first try on the playthrough I got a Harold. And on his second try he got a Harold as well. It was one hell of a moment. Now a treasured memory. I really miss that guy.
@@Whodatboy999 don't worry, He's not dead as far as I know. we just grew up and didn't keep in touch, it's how life works unfortunatly. we both started to work and stopped playing games. a week turned into a month and a month into a year and then years. but I hold my childhood with him dearly. he was my right side and I was his left. a brother from another mother haha I hope he's living the good life and ditched drugs for good :/
I remember I was mostly excited for Borderlands 3 because I saw the new slot machines and I was like daaang look at the variety. Hitting them slots was the first thing I did after getting sanctuary in the air lol
Lol yeah I remember when shit went flying during first gameplay of me and my cousin the only thing we were concerned about is if slots teleported safensound. We finished bl2 main story 3 times and never spent a single dollar on anything else than spins
8:04 I actually convinced a group I was playing with to stand right where that cart lands and it killed everyone, they didn't find it as amusing as I did though :)
@@Ten_Thousand_Locusts the way your brain works is odd, if you don’t believe it scroll past but if you don’t believe it you cannot doubt something or someone you dont even know 😂 other than that theres alot of stuff in borderlands where you can kill the whole team ☠️ ive done it and its been done to me many times. Its a part of borderlands, maybe you’ve never played?…
I’ve played borderlands 2 one single time. With my friend who has played the game countless times. Every. Single. Chance. I got, I was gambling, he’d be like “ight we’re gonna stop at sanctuary rq to talk to some npcs” and by the time we were leaving I’d be out of money. Lowkey made the game bearable because I CANNOT STAND shoot and loots. But I love him so I played =)
Wanted to make a comment about "Hey there's eridian slots in Tina DLC" Kinda glad I kept watching the entire vid before saying it though, as you actually did wind up doing it in the end. ... Kinda wanna do a legendary only slot machine run for the pure masochism of it.
Thank you so much man, im a recovering gambling addict that was about 60k on debt, i was almost done but this video really sowed me that i quitted out early and went back to gambling to try and win massive just like you did in this video and i didn’t man, now i’m 140k in debt cuz i told them that this was it man 😢 great videos keep it up man and will update
Presequel had potential. Then the dev office got shut down and all focus went towards bl3. Which from the little I've played, has decent gameplay and a very lackluster story
@@raddaradda8682 games don't get points for potential. I don't praise games for things they didn't do. Same with movies that had potential. Potential is just a way of saying "I wish it were better" Anyway, I have played and I think beat all borderlands games, except the second borderlands story one. I heard it is atrocious. Bl3 story was garbo and the gameplay was good until they fucked with it too much with updates no one wanted.
@@ggmann13 I had meant the opportunities to add more DLC and maybe events. Pre sequel is a perfectly functioning and very fun game to play, it's just a lot smaller than BL2, when it had plans to have at least 2 full size DLCs before the studio closed. There's a big difference between a shit movie that tried too hard to be a good one, and a pretty decent game that had it's development shut down abruptly. The shit movie was finished, the lackluster game was not.
@@raddaradda8682 idk that I would say the pre sequel was "very fun to play" it got stale quick and something about the gunplay never felt quite right. I remember playing it with my buddy and bringing this weird feeling up and he immediately reciprocating saying he felt the same way. Something was off in the combat of that game compared to the previous bl. Anf as I already stated, I don't give points for could a shoulda woulda. The game could a had two (presumably) good dlcs and something about events? Well it didn't, leaving the game rather lackluster and feeling unfinished. That same thing can happen with movies btw. Plenty of movies that "had potential" were movies trying to set up a franchise, leaving that one movie to actually be an unfinished storyline. So yes, it is quite similar. And the pre sequel had pretty bland player Characters. The one that really upset me and missed the mark with the loads of potential it could've had was wonderlands. God what an absolute let down.
W4R-DEN it looks bad because it has a massive shield but it's there to teach players who didn't do Marcus's elemental side quests the importance of shock weapons because it isn't really bulky after that shield is gone
I’m genuinely surprised by your subscriber count. Not to dickride but you have a great camera presence and some genuinely creative video ideas. Since your videos are on my recommended I hope you get your much needed attention.
Back when I was playing Borderlands 2 with a couple friends, 50% of the time we were at Moxxy's😂 Laughing at the friend that got 20 bad rolls, "winning" a granade, blocking the way and end up dying everybody... Good times, and YES that sh*t was addictve
I've been thinking of another playthrough lately. I've completed it 5 times since 2017 and I find myself thinking about it a lot lately. It's a timeless game and there's nothing else like it.
I think I'm one of the few who can proudly say I've gotten a legendary from a slot machine (unironically probably like 0.1% or less of people). I've never been a big slot machine hitter in Borderlands, I'll do it occasionally usually just when I am already low on cash and like why not. But when I was in the Dust on a character back in like 2016 or something like that, I hit the slot machine out there in that building and first try I got a Maggie. I can't remember if it had good parts or not (at the time I didn't even know parts), but still a legendary from a slot machine is already insane. Out of my like 2k+ hours in the game it's the only slot machine legendary I've ever won. They really are like real slot machines, like damn. I don't know if I'll ever win another one, but next time I'll be recording for sure since now I record every time. Wish I had it recorded would love to just watch it back time to time. Crazy to think instead I could of had a csgo knife but no, it's a legendary in a game that is worth nothing AND I over leveled it too with just a few level ups. Sad.
Smacking myself in the face and downing myself twice in the same fight was what finally made me put silence the voices down the damage is nice when it’s not me who doing the damage to myself
If you go full send into the Mania skill tree, the self damage becomes a huge boon when you get Release the Beast. Stack your melee damage buffs, grab Thrill of the Kill, and a roid shield and Krieg is a fucking monster.
Gotta love leaving a level 72 pearl in the locker so you can gamble big time in sanctuary on a new character to get all that eridium for upgrades and some nice guns if you're lucky
If you'd like to try another luck based run, why not play tiny tinas wonderlands but you can only use gear dropped by the d20 dice you can find. Makes it harder cuz each one is a one roll deal and no take backs.
I would rather die, trying to get to a decent area to farm on a fresh save would be so damn tilting dying over and over. At least if you can get there you can save quit farm since no cost but still damn.
Last time I played as Krieg, I was playing with a much higher level Siren friend. I activated Fuel the Rampage and kept getting one-shot by Maya. Turns out, my friend was invested in Blight Phoenix and I couldn't handle the damage from it. Funniest Borderlands 2 screw up I've ever been a part of.
As a bloodletter/deathless Moze I relate so much to the chaos of going down constantly and saving myself at the last second until FFYL literally breaks and drains in a second lol. Would love to see a BL3 version of this
You could, and you could also consider the chests with the two dice gambling as well. Both take eridium and can potentially give good loot. You have to consider the Tina DLC version and the Commander Lillith DLC version of ButtStallion two separate ones though due to different drops.
Well as a matter of fact, that train cart *does* crush you, and the first time i played that map with someone who had previously played they *did* troll me 8:03
8:04 you can in fact get crushed by it, friends and I sacrifice ourselves to the train every playthrough. (we also sacrifice ourselves to the train wilhelm throws)
do yourself a favor and get some mods. i recommend bl2fix if you wanna more or less a vanilla+ experience; but if you want to get into python sdk mods, you can add so many quality of life improvements: sliding, hotkey to pick up items autoassigned as trash, instantly refill ammo/health at vendors, map indicators for legendaries, teleporting all loot in front of you (in case it lands on an unreachable place), etc
