When I first heard of creeper world 3 years ago I thought it would be some Mc fangame of creepers of some sort, then I was met with a fantastic tower defense
7:23 one of my favorite tactics is a combination of Terps and Sprayers, and terraforming in a similar fashion. 9:20 i used to think that a Forge had to be connected to a command post to keep your upgrades working, but i recently discovered that it only has to be supplied with energy. i figured this out when playing a tricky map that's almost entirely covered with creeper right at the start. 14:42 there's a Steam achievement for winning that level without ANY weapons except Neutralizers, by using those pyramids. one acts like a giant shield, one produces lots of anticreeper, the third one makes strange robots that wander around and release anticreeper when they are destroyed by creeper.
Man, I've only played CW:E a significant amount, a VERY long time ago. I didn't ever guess that there are other, way more advanced games in the series.
I keep seeing random games I love in your channel lol. Side note, I noticed a few earlier levels you can beat more safely if you fly your odin a bit. It can still produce energy while midair, so if you fly it towards where your nullifier is, you can cut down on the time the energy packet would need to travel.
It's amazing seeing just how many people didn't know creeper world 3 existed. Esspecially considered i was certain creeper world was more popular than PvZ, which apparently everyone knows about
Ah, someone remembers this game! Btw, I just wanted to put a few things here to people who want to attempt similar challenges: - For Farbor, you can just about nuke the bottom-right enemy ore processor at the start of the map, but it does cost 2 CNs (I've tried with 1 and it doesn't seem to be possible). Don't worry, the two CNs will be useable again after a 30 second cooldown, but it will cost you one of the possible starter islands as well due to how long it takes to build and charge a nullifier. - Sprayers release all of their remaining AC content when they are destroyed, regardless of how they are destroyed. You can amass a large quantity of filled, disarmed sprayers and move them into the Creeper before either letting them be destroyed or by manually destroying them for a huge burst of AC.
13:17 Skarsgard abr axis: It was a hard fight to collect this message so tell me this isn't just a entertainment vid. Me: I am sorry but this is just a entertainment video shyguymask recorded.
The only tactic I use is -build a massive load of starfers -directly attack the emmiters , that will cause the creeper to stop flowing -bomb the creeper with anti-creeper by using the bombers -easily install a nullifier
As a fun little factoid, most objects can have rounded corners on their terraformed platforms. So instead of having to terraform all 9 squares of terrain for a nullifier, you can just terraform 5 in a diamond shape. Helps a lot with speed.
Once again reminding me of why I subscribed to this channel! Also I highly recommend particle fleet as there are absolutely crazy playthroughs you can do with minmaxed custom ships! I haven't really tried myself but I think it MAY just be barely possible to win without using weapons and just ramming, at least on the main campaign not really sure about the extra levels. Or you can try something else because of how many quirks does the ship editor allow. If you haven't played yet at least give it a try and see what I mean.
I want to thank ShyGuyMask for introducing a new game for me(and other people too), while also getting out of his way and making a challenge out of the games, even if it takes hours, maybe even some days to beat Thanks for the dedication bud
Same here. Just something satisfying about slowly pushing through the creep with a group of weapons that start huddled in a pile then spread out as you make room. In a way it's like a wave fighting a wave. (More literally if you have lots of anti creep)
You can actually cheese the final stage with shields and nullifiers at the very start, giving new dialogue and a third ending. I really love creeper world and am happy to see it being shown on this channel!
Thank you so much for this video, you made me install and play this awesome game I had nearly forgotten, there will be hours upon hours of fun thanks to you!!! =)
One note: Ormos (the level where you unlock Terps and have to fort up against a wave of Creeper from each side) has no Emitters, nor any other source of Creeper beyond the initial supply, so, provided you can keep enough of the level "dry" to have your Command ship land and build at least one Strafer connected to it, your victory is inevitable, if incredibly slow. You can't afford to do absolutely nothing before the level stabilises, since the raised land in the center has enough pits to prevent Command from landing there, but if you use a Terp to raise enough of that region to height that you can land Command there, you can then leave the game for the several hours of game clock it takes for everything to settle, and come back and win from there. For that matter, if you just Terp the gaps in the walls to level 9 and walk away, you do get a small spillover on each side, but little enough that it evaporates long before it could flood the area. You might lose a few structures, but you'd keep your safe zone and only need some way to remove quantities of Creeper that's too deep to evaporate to eventually clear the map.
Mmm, I think you should try doing a challenge in a game called Forager. I'm not sure what challenge though. I still think some Forager content would be cool!
Not trying to be rude but Forager quickly turn into an idle game, even casually it isn't a hard game at all. If you try to avoid the idle stuff as part of the "challenge" it would just turn it into an annoying game not a challenging one. I like the game a lot personally but it simply not much of a game for challenges.
@@RedPandaTables that's understandable, it's definitely fun but your argument is definitely valid. There is a way to make things more challenging, so for example, buying all the islands without economic skill tree upgrades or defeating all the bosses without combat skill tree upgrades, things like that. Idk if it would be worth a video though.
Finally someone covers this game, good job. The creeper world games are pretty much hidden gems (somewhat at least). Will you also make a video on CW 4?
Even tho I didn't know the existence of this game, I kinda understand how hard it was to beat this challenge. Well done I may try this game in the future
2:50 "The enemy is protecting the key! How do we get it?" "Drop right onto enemy territory, grab the key, then get the hell out while we're mortally wounded." "Uh, okay! Then how do we beat the creepers?" "We don't. Next level!"
@@trickygamer555 its not really pacifist, you just don't use any of the game's weapon towers. the three big pyramids in the level 14:43 have defensive and offensive abilities
One tactic I sometimes use is to fill up a sprayer with anti creep, send it into some creeper and have it self-destruct. It will drop all of the anti-creep it was holding at once, it's basically a big anti-creep bomb.
I like how your videos are so random but you can always get the gist to it and understand it while you play, probably why i like your channel so much lol
