@@YR-jg1gk two-handing is a flat str bonus to your actual stats, so it'd help anything that scales with str or even meeting str requirements

Fun fact: If you have another seal in your other hand, if you alternate the casting hand, it speeds up the release of the sling between 8-12% so you can get more damage in an attack cycle.

I think you can use that knife gurranq uses to further boost it too

You can easily cheese pvp by just spamming beast sling

@@tiptopbull9274 Try beastial sling into honed bolt, it's actually good. If you want to see something funny try bestial sling into honed bolt into black blade.

Forget the dagger, the best setup for beast incantations is running a pure faith build, casting with the erdtree seal, and holding the clawmark seal in your off hand. You get WAY more damage that way.

Better go from Gurranq as it's closer, you just gotta run past Greyll and Putrid Avatar. It's not that bad.

@@rinek4268 Most incant scaling gives high faith + erdtree seal, so it doesn't matter if he carries the clawmark seal or the dagger in the other hand. What gimped his dmg was casting with clawmark.

@@julianadams3710 well, literally the basic one spell (flame of frenzy) deals really massive damage, has an AoE and costs low-to-no FP thus being the most fp-effective incantation in the entire game

@@rodplays3726 it says it in the loading screen tips about two handing. When you two hand, your strength stat increases by 50%, so if you have 26 strength your strength will now have plus 13 so it becomes 39. This is why two handing eases strength requirements for weapons, but not other requirements. For the claw mark seal, because it scales so heavily with strength, that extra 50% strength stat will mean your scaling for the seal increases greatly, usually around 50-75 incantation scaling points when I’ve used it. So yea, two handing seals actually does help, it just doesn’t make a difference to other seals like it does for the claw mark seal. Btw this also works with the Demi human queen staff if you wanna give that a go for sorceries.

@@rodplays3726 it doesn’t always increase damage. It increases damage more for weapons that scale better with strength, cause all it does is increase strength stat. Two handing a weapon like a regular staff wouldn’t do much, but Demi human queen staff scales with strength so it would do a lot with that.

The moment I got Bestial Sling I realized that spell is a monster Insanely fast poke tool that costs very little and can be casted from dashing or jumping? That’s a lot of flexibility you have and it’s amazing

@@muttonsword spamming it though is bad because the people you fight (if they actually have a brain) will be expecting it and will be watching your animations closely to see if you try to do it.

I did not that would explain why I saw the beast claw at the top of some people's "best incantations" list and I'm like the rock sling and stone throw were way better lol

You can't charge the circular beastclaw spell. Unless I'm doing something horribly wrong (although I don't think I can do anything wrong about holding R1/ L1).

@@TyeTaylor The cone beast claw feels a bit meh to me. It's nice to AoE down mobs with but on most bosses it's useless. Although on very large ones it can deal a double hit (not sure if you have to charge or not). The circular one feels just undertuned, can't find a use for it. Theoretically it's good when you're surrounded but when that's the case you'll likely get interrupted before you get the cast off. This is all PvE though, maybe there are PvP applications I'm not aware of.
