Welcome back to the convergence mod! This time we're using the marksman class to see how bows do in the convergence mod by beating the convergence mod bow only! This one was actually quite fun!

Did a bow build with convergencemod myself not a long ago. And it was a blast right until the boss who replaces gideon. I didn't even think bows could be so good, mod team really did them justice

in base-game elden ring I have found that you can actually use the base damage arrows (no status effect arrows) pretty well in your first run, that was how I first beat Astel, with stormhawk arrows and the black bow, however as you can imagine, NG+ makes it... a little hell imo

I know it's too late for you but for the others farming stormwing arrows, just equip fire arrows and shoot at the barrels near the birds, it'll save you time

Always remember that short bows and the Black Bow all have jump shots, which are quick shots so you can stay mobile. The quick shot property is shared by jump shots, landing shots, rolling shots and running shots.

Rainbow stone arrows are the funniest thing in the game to me. I made a character *just* to invade and use rainbow arrows with Barrage and Rain of Arrows. That build never got a kill, but watching thevisable confusion of other players was wonderful

Used those rainbow stone arrows in pvp. Too funny to see about 20 of those sticking in the opponent’s head. Won most of those as well since running and rolling attacks are hard to predict for the enemy😂

Mighty shot typically also adds 50% status build up, making it really good with those serpent arrows

For anyone wondering, a really good farming spot for thin beast bones is the flat area in front of the golden seed tree under Stormhill shack grace. You can even kill the Erdtree Avatar to get a grace right on top of it.

Bow build are actually decent in regular game too. Stuff like rain of arrow or using trough and trough on great bows with golem great arrow and big enemies does great dmg. Quick shot amazing to aplie status effect. And infinite bone from the bone pedler bellbering makes crafting arrows much easier

What I learned early on in my Marksman playthrough was to grab the Silver Scarab and just farm sheep, they have a chance to drop 3X small beast bones, that's 20 free arrows, and you can also get eagle feathers pretty commonly to that way to give them fletching.

Black bow (barrage AOW) with blood arrows = fast bleed procs. Rain of Arrows AOW also does high dmg. Best for big targets so more arrows hit.

Convergence mod bows are the closest thing we get to Dark Souls 2 bows. Bows were SO good in Dark Souls 2. Also, with greatbows, you can still do a "jump shot" it seems to draw the bow faster.

i hope in future they also buff crossbow too. i remembered DS3 convergence made crossbow scaling like bow, they hit harder but slower and not as nimble as bow which seperate between the bowman and crossbowman classes

In base game the serpent bow makes every single arrow fired with or without using itself inflict poison. You could use a composite bow in right hand, sepent in left, shoot fire arrows from composite bow and still get poison build-up

I just use the Horn Bow for clearing out areas whenever I have the high ground. Pretty good for that, haven't used a bow in direct combat yet.

Love that bows scale past e and d now in this mod. Base game bows don't do that sadly wish they would change that.

I know you didnt use it but radahn's greatbow gets a 20% buff when using his arrows with it. combine that with the ash and you get 1000 a shot and 2-4k per ash

Where did you get the Golem greatbow. I was farming like 3hours in altus, the Giant with bow. only get the arrows and great stones ? I was using the feet and the talisman who increases discobery .it's been removed or something? or i just have bad luck?

Looking at the gameplay of marksman, this honestly would be better played as a First Person shooter. Espexially since Headshot multipliers exist in the base game. To the point you can OHK with greatbows. Definitely going for this next and introducing my friend to this class mod.

if you farm the archer albinarics in the stranded graveyard (fringefolk) you get 4k+ each kill. you can grind them, save up and go to murchant by fort haight to get all your arrow ingredients. Oh yeah, and the merchant by the knight calvary near mourn

marksman weapons: a spear, a pizza cutter, a greataxe, a set of blades, a greatsword, a weeb greatsword, twinblades, 2 bows, and a greatbow. Marksman really needs an overhaull, ngl. all but 3 of the marksman weapons are things that have absolutely nothing to do with marksmanship, and the bows come in 2 flavors, Bow, and slightly bigger bow.

Wait what about black bow? Why didn't you use the black bow it's so much better than all the other bows? Sadly u didn';t use black bow, it's the best bow and apparently it's scaling was amped up like crazy and your game would've been much smoother and easier if you had black bow instead of pulley bow or erdtree bow

U missed the black bow, literally the best bow in the game, the only medium bow that works as a light bow, i was really surprised it wasnt in the weapons list, or that a new less underwealming bow hadnt been added 😢
