imo you should be allowed one mulligan with escape rope per run, only from E4 and higher, but maybe I'm boring 🤷‍♂️

I've been using mega Aero as my general starter in rogue. It makes the early game a breeze by outspeeding and OHKOing basically any non-evolved pokemon without setup, but it does tend to fall off late in the run.

4:20 btw grassu terrain halfs the power of earthquake, so even resisted explosion would do more dmg

Wait... this is the half point. 9 types... cuz 8 videos but the unprecedented steel fairy run makes it 9. Great job I manage to beat out the monotypes in about a week... Although that's with me getting bored after 10 and spamming a level 80 to get past the entire early game for the last 8... Look, everyone has their playstyle and mine is being a completionist... Plus, with the right starter (NOT A FAN FAVOURITE LIKE LARVITAR... we all know it was just for the content) you really shouldn't have problems with the early game... the elite 4 and champions are the real problems. My biggest flex in this game is my bug-poison run when I swept the first 4 gyms with a mega beedrill and then with quiver dance venomoth... Fun fact, +6 venomoth could 1 shot a moltres with bug buzz... IDK why but blain decided to switch out his houndoom for his moltres... It really didnt matter. Venomoth is way too broken. it's my go-to non-legend starter. Otherwise, mewtwo is just free in 0-dark type gen 1 runs... Except for when misty pulls out mega gyrados in the 8th gym and ends ur psychic monotype run with it using d-dance... it was not pretty For my rock type run, I used mega diance. Pretty much the mega is an offensive mon and the pre-mega is defensive so running moonblast and diamond storm, with psychic for coverage, as a mixed attacker (160 each) is great for the mega while the body press was cracked with the insane 150 defense of the non-mega
