The people in the Mojave are quite generous indeed! The twitter I forget to use: / nerbit_13098 ko-fi.com/nerbit #Fallout #Challenge #Gaming Music:www.purple-pla...
“And so, the Birthday Boy who had cheated death in the cemetery outside of good springs, cheated death once again. And the Mojave wasteland was forever changed”
FO4 might be extremely easy since you can get Righteous Authority, The Deliverer, a free set of power armor, (I count it since the BOS give you it, even tho its not added to inventory) I believe X6-88 is also given to you by the institute.
@@TheChosenMoose01 even with more harsh roles, there's a Crippling Sledgehammer that can be given without attacking anything in Far Harbor. Then u can get the Atom's Judgement super sledge, and both u and Cait can do massive damage.
If you finished Boone's quest he would have given you a first recon beret that increases crit chance. Also happy birthday Nerbit and I can't wait to see this challenge again in either Oblivion, Skyrim, or Fallout 4.
2:34 , not sure if you're aware of this or not, but if you drop all of your 5.56 ammo during target practice, when you talk to Sunny, she'll gift you 50 more rounds
I'm surprised you didn't go legion on this run, because it's incredibly viable. In addition to liberator and the healing powder, turning dog tags in to decanus severus can get you submachine guns, leather armor, frag grenades, and ammo for lower tier guns. The safehouse gets you free stealth boys. The caesar's favor dropboxes are also incredibly busted, giving you tons of healing items and just about every type of ammo in the game, making gifts like the van graff weapons and the mysterious magnum useable for the entire run.
I'm genuinely curious: has he ever done a legion run? Of all the New Vegas videos of his I've watched so far, I have yet to find one where he actually sides with the legion.
I'm pretty sure the dropboxes wouldn't count, seeing as he has to loot that stuff, rather than having it handed to him. I might be conflating multiple rules from different channels, but from what I can remember that's part of this.
You naming your character "The Birthday Boy" is so cute. That's my second favorite part of the video. The first is the literal reading of the misspellings in the script.
Happy Birthday Nerbit! Your videos are the best part of my Friday! Your content has only improved over time and I'm beyond happy seeing you succeeding :D
I know it isn't really the most interesting challenge, since you've already done the other version of it, but it would be cool to see a run with as many vanilla followers as possible, like imagine a follower, a dog, ncr ranger and trooper, king bodyguard, etc. Could be interesting
Happy (late) birthday Nebit! Also judging by the amount of gifts in Vegas... Yeah you probably can, but still, this will be fun to watch! (Also day idk how long I've been requesting this, Can you beat Skyrim with only Weaponized Junk?)
Happy Birthday Nerbit! A neat anti-lincoln run would be a "Could you beat Fallout 4 as a Blade Runner" the goal is to try and kill every Synth NPC while using Blade-runner type weapons. would be a good antesis to Lincoln trying to save the synths.
probably a bit late, but congrats on your 25th Birthday my guy! love your content. hope you have even more success with your videos onwards, as they help me through tough times. Sincerely, a fan from Norway.
@@MishraArtificer The closest I imagine you could get is a fedora and deathclaw gauntlet with the Mister Sandman perk, while a hockey mask and machete are more readily available
Hey man you're only a year older than me that actually caught me off guard. Love the content man these Fallout: New Vegas runs are my favorite personally I'm gonna try a run something like this I'm still trying to figure out what it'll be but keep em coming man!
It's funny you tagged Speech, Barter, and Explosives specifically for Ghost Town Gunfight, because Obsidian had PC Gamer tag those for a guided demo of the quest in 2010.
Could you argue ED-E would’ve been viable for this run? As he’s in the possession of Johnson Nash and he basically says “if you can fix it, you can have it”
She'll also give you more ammo if you agree to fight geckos with her. It's an extremely easy encounter even for a tutorial, and absolutely worth doing.
Hey hey, Happy Birthday Nerbit! I do want to say that you could've gotten Powrr Armor training from the Enclave as you don't have to do much except talk to Doctor Boy in the fort and at the end of it when they train you, you can get Arcade to gift you his family Power Armor which would've run you through an amazing yet often missed sidequest
I have a challenge idea. Can you beat fallout 4, as the enclave? You can only do things that the enclave would do so you would probably have to side with the institute and you could only use weapons they would use. And you’d probably have to get the X-01 power armor Edit: Ik it’s vague but it’s just an idea I had while eating breakfast
I have a suggestion Beat an Elder Scrolls game as Thor Nord, can only use lightning/electric based spells and abilities, only weapon you can use is Dwarven Warhammer(renamed Mjolnir, with the appropriate elemental enchantment), if completing Civil War story in Skyrim you side with the Stormcloaks(the true Nords as stated in that game) You can interpret any other stipulations yourself, obviously, just thought this was a fun idea
Honestly that was one of the coolest goodsprings fights I've ever seen! The murdering gang-banging punk ran away as soon as he saw his friends weren't there to back him up. Then fucking Ringo, a man who's already lost his livelihood defending himself against Joe Cobb specifically, chases after the coward and kills him with totally justified bloodlust. That was RICH! So cool. Never seen it play out quite that way before. I was surprised you covered it so nonchalantly
Needed this Nerbit, been using your videos to sleep to ever since i finished all the fallout challenge vids, more vids to enjoy and more vids to sleep too, Happy Birthday my guy !! Keep up the great content as always!!
Wow, the Fallout 4 version of this challenge sounds painful. You get Righteous Authority from Danse, a bunch of Chems from Diamond City Blues, the Silver Shroud gear, A sniper rifle up in Salem from Barney Rook, A single Balistic Weave mk1(?) mod from the first railroad Black Ops Cache (Given from Tinker Tom after the fact), and I think that's about it, right? Except for Ashmaker from The Big Dig, which you can turn into a pseudo-ripper with some modifications and gun bashing.
in regards to the statement made at 3:49 - I enjoy playing the game in a no kill fashion and have learned that you have a few ways of killing the ants without engaging in combat yourself. If the wandering trader is at the base of the hill when you engage the ants their wandering distance when aggro'd is far enough to get the mercenary and trader engaged. Likewise, the radscorpions from the nearby gas station can be aggro'd over as well but only go so far into the ant's territory but will fight the ants. I've done this myself in my personal playthroughs many times but it can be tricky as it was difficult for me the first few times and its rather time consuming if you're not trying to force a no kill rule early on. hope this is helpful for future videos
I remember I think you can get Remnants and Gannon Family Power Armor via gifts since Daisy will give you her suit if Orion Moreno is spared or you convince Gannon not to go to Hoover Dam.
Cait is an option in Fallout 4, as she is acquired via someone giving you her contract. Far Harbor is a good option for armor gifts, and a melee weapon. Apologies if any of this has been said before.
I was wondering what you'd do with thr items Doc gives you at the beginning. Glad you went with the fact that they were technically yours and he was just returning them
I don't think that I ever seen Mr. House talk about Gen. Oliver dying before. I did not realize that he could die (except in Legion ending). Amazing that the developers actually allow you to kill him.
Given that next friday is the closest to halloween, and Nerbit mentioning planning on going on a killing spree with a machete, I'm calling it right now that next challenge will be "can you beat fallout new vegas as jason voorhees"
You could have gotten infinite free dynamite and gunpowder from the powder gangers in the NCRCF if you helped them fend off the NCR. Dynamite only run wouldn't be the most fun though.
What's worse about the radio not working at the Dam is that Oliver specifically tells you that you can use it for help during the battle if you ask him about backup. I guess someone fudged up the coding or something.
A suggestion for a run, Can You Beat any Fallout, as John Wick. Meaning you can only use gun/melee weapons to kill one enemy in your current situation, after which you drop it and must replace it with the closest weapon near you, either by finding one in the area, pickpocketing one from somebody, or salvaging one from a corpse, crafted weapons are also allowed. after the fight is over you can keep the last weapon you used to deal with any non-humans or animals that get in your way, unless you have the animal friend perk. You may also bring dogmeat with you if you want to risk his life. you are allowed to try and talk your way out of the situation, but if things go south, you must kill everybody involved. Finally, got to have a black and white suit.
For the fallout 4 ver, i thought about The Deathclaw Gauntlet. U don't need to kill the Deathclaw in the museum. In far harbor, u can get a Crippling Sledgehammer without killing anything.
I love your content nerbit. Been watching for a little over a year now and not only do I watch every single video, but I rewatch them as I go to sleep. Couldn't tell you how many views I've given to fallout 4 abe lincoln ;)
before leaving docs house for the first time you can ask him for some more stimpaks saying that doctors usually do follow up treatment or something like that
Using the NCR radio anywhere on the map: Noone appears and I die from all hazard and enermies. Using the NCR radio near Legion 's base: Hold on to your buckle boy, Uncle Sam is sending his best guys for you.
I'd like to see you do a single shotgun only run. I did it a couple days ago and it was hard. But manageable. Mainly because of the certain traits and perks.
6:20 A little(ok a lot) late but to answer your question Military, NCR guy is with the NCR Military while Nelis was a Pre-war Military base or at least a place with military grade weaponry.
