Doctors keep telling me If I keep going the way I'm going then I will get it and possibly die from it. Just finding out about Paul really brought me back down to reality. Regarding the goof with the other run: If something like that happens again, lean into it. If possible. Maybe change the run enough to make it really chaotic or just really funny. Then, after a few other runs, you can try the original challenge again. Sometimes, mistakes are actually beneficial! I just saw you went all the way to Novac to get the pieces for ED-E. It's not necessary. You will find them in Lone Wolf Radio, which is a location that is close to Primm. When coming from Goodsprings Source to Primm, there is a location to the right side (in the map it would look between Goodsprings Source and the Canyon Wreckage of Lonesome Road) Bonus extra: When not having high science, you can make the rebreather with a pressure cooker that can be found at Doc Mitchell's kitchen.
Not sure if you knew this but when you are helping Boone you can just tell Jeannie May to go out in front of the dinosaur, get her killed, loot the key, get the bill of sale after she has died and you get the same dialogue option as if you had found the bill of sale before she died.
The key to avoiding the artillery is to move from building to building up the northwest side of town toward the front gate. Stick to the high cover in the northeast corner of the two buildings, then make a beeline for the gate. The Boomers won't shoot at their own people, so stick to the fence until you make it to the gate. Also, I know there is an old train tunnel that enters the area from the south, but no one has ever come back out of there to say it is safe.
