Today, we embark on a spiritual journey in the shape and form of a flimsy, dingy, pathetic little yoyo, and get caught within the confines of string length in order to entirely conquer Terraria on Master Mode with yoyos only! No, we will not fight Empress of Light with a yoyo. I would rather eat nothing but aluminum foil for the rest of my life. I had a lot of cash money moolah against WoF from selling hellstone, meteorite, and crimtane (surprise, I was on WoF for around 4 hours) 3. I use journey to play master mode because I like less grinding and most importantly I am playing master mode to fight the master mode bosses not get oneshot by a zombie with a zombie arm on my first night am then wait like 35 secs to respawn just so I can run with no accessories into the underground to rinse and repeat over and over for hours while I look for a hook and Hermes boots nor do I like basic mobs taking like 96 hits to kill minimum

A piece of advice here: If you're ever having trouble with the destroyer, switch to orichalcum armor. You would not believe how much DPS you can squeeze out of that set against the worm boi.

As a yoyo main, your run was pretty good. For those uneducated, your yoyo progression is gonna be Wooden > Amazon > Cascade > Amarok > Yelets > Eoc. Of course, use/craft a better yoyo if you have access, but these will generally be the best to use at whatever stage in the game you're at

i feel like yo-yos only is one of the few challenge runs thats kind of intended, there are yoyoz for pretty much every stage of progression and with the yo-yo accessies itd be easy to just have a regular play through with only yo-yos. only thing that sucks about them is they really are meant for pc, i started a switch playthrough and oh god they were not meant for a controller

I recently played Ty's Yoyo Redux mod on 1.4 and I 100% recommend it for anyone that wants to actually have fun doing this on Master Mode, they add new Yoyos, new accesories and reworks even the vanilla yoyos to actually have different attacks, abilities and special effects.

I beat classic mode with only yoyos about a month ago, and aside from Moon Lord it was a piece of cake. I never even considered trying it on Expert, let alone Master, and for that, you are truly a big balled individual. Keep up the awesome content!

I once had an expert mode world and named the character "The Yoyo Master". I got to the pillars but could not defeat the moon lord after 5 attempts and gave in and got a solar eruption and killed the moon lord. Looking back, I should have probably built an arena using asphalt and actually reforged my items and used potions.

As for the wall of flesh, you could place campfires, heart lamps, sunflowers, puddles of honey, which all benefit you in some way, (health wise), just a suggestion my waffle boy, also love your videos btw, they’re always entertaining in the best ways!!
