Assuming Popcap keeps going for the next 9 years, over time we'll get a Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, Rat and Ox plant in that order

You should use the squash. I know it’s a vegetable in culinary terms, but it’s botanically classified as a fruit because the squash it’s based off of (the chayote squash), it has a rock hard pit in the center of the fruit that protects the seed. You should use it for the next world cause some strong mechs are incoming

I would love to see an animal based plants series with some of the fun plants like tiger grass and seeing the technicalities like the Maybee and the Primal potato mine. So excited for this series and future ones keep up the good work👍
Botanically, only roots, stems, flowers and leaves are considered vegetables. Nuts and legumes, although seemingly mostly fruits, is pushing it, since they tow a fine line between being a seed and a fruit. Peanuts are even wilder in this case…

Fun fact; Dragon Bruit is a shadow plant. I don’t think there’s any other shadow plants that are fruits, but if there are; you can buff the Dragon Bruit.

I think this will be a pretty easy series for you since many plants in the game are fruits but still fun nonetheless
Sorey for being "that guy" but a toadstool is a mushroom. So you could do a mushroom only run. The only plants that come to mind is the hypnoshroom (or whatever its called) and rhe toadstool
If Pepper pult is allowed i don't see a reason why ghost pepper wouldn't be, she's a gemium plant that you can get on halloween (changing date should work) or maybe going into this upgrading book, finding her there and clicking unlock (but i'm not sure if this will work)
