In terms of water starters in this game, I honestly think froakie in the best after you hatch one or two froakie eggs. Battle Bond greninja clears mostly everything with water shuriken. Oh and there's adaptability as a passive if you take the time to grind 40 candies

try doing fighting types only! hatching riolu from an egg gives it a chance to learn either triple axle or thunderous kick which im sure would be a great help! love the videos btw (edit: galarian farfetched can learn behemoth blade as an egg move when hatched)

I see Ivy as the rival RU-vidrs have the most of, and I have Finn as my rival. Finn is the BOSS FIGHT for every last time I encounter him! I know his starter's typing, I know his team, and I STILL lose because of his INSANE AI Also, you can give a Rare Candy to a pokemon with the max level, and it will give them an extra level anyways.
