Can you Beat Skyrim With Only Destruction?! 

Ironically he probably made this run easier on himself by limiting himself to the novice spells. Higher level spells are much harder to rely on as your only way of attacking due to how much magicka they cost to cast. When I did a character that was almost a pure mage, I ended up only using firebolt and almost never the higher tier spells because bethesda screwed up the damage to magicka cost ratio. Magic kinda stinks in skyrim.

@@TaurusTheCrazyBull well fireball does do more damage per cast. It's just that casting multiple firebolts will give you more damage for less magicka than an equivalent number of fireballs.

The rune perk affect the distance of the rune cast by the dawnguard Warhammer.

Nope. Literally impossible. Speedrunners have done the math. The lack of boobs means you have no forward momentum and you can't even outrun Alduin in the beginning.

There is always more to learn. I have another trick I didn't mention that's pretty strange. So keep an eye out for it.

You can also re-equip fortify magicka item (novice hood) to gain some magicka, when you run out of it

This is me but with fallout and two things: 1. Putting away the weapons 2. Flashlight

While sneaking, if you change your spells with hotkeys, your character moves faster. lol It's really weird but I do it a lot to move faster while in sneak. You do like a weird jolt forward while your spells change and you can just change them back and forth.

Yuuppp you pretty much need to cheese it with destruction magicka cost enchants if you want it to stay viable

@@kookbook4399 Never mind that there's no real proper scaling on destruction by default which means eventually as the levels accumulate enemies damage and defence will simply outpace the player.

@@JaitsuStudios the kamehameha lightning spell, whatever it's called, seems to work at higher levels with -100% magicka cost.

That's why the fortify destruction potion exist in the game.

Its op as hell, the impact perk point just makes you cheese all content

@@lemex27gamesnshit During my first full-mage run of unmodded Skyrim, I defeated Alduin and Harkon and ended the game with about 52 destruction and 30 or less in every other school. I think the 30 was alteration from all the skin spells. Resto wasn't far behind though. Illusion and conjuration got used maybe twice each the entire game. Played basically the entire game with dual-cast firebolt and lightning bolt and stopped using anything but destruction after getting Impact. Yeah, that one perk basically makes all other magic unnecessary. Of course since then I've upped my game: I use Chain Lightning and Fireball when there's more than one target. That way I can alternate and keep 2-3 targets stun-locked instead of only 1.

Depends on the difficulty, on legendary high level draugr take dozens of fireballs to kill for example, which takes the fun out of it tbh.

Not if you're just going through the main questline.

95% of enemies stop leveling with you when you reach lvl.35. Only ones that continue leveling after that point are dragons and dragon priests.

@Sorley Walker either by luck you find the books lying around the soul cairn (they have specific spots where they are) or by using a guide to find them it will not be easy due to the soulcairns nature of not having a map (unless you install the mod that gives the soulcairn a map)

I think 100k is the goal for everyone. It's really my end goal is to make it to 100k. Once I am there I will have done something I never would have thought attainable.
