I think this game does it better though. You can go to the final boss but it’s much tougher to get there than in BotW and it’s not explicitly told where the final battle even is. Harder to cheese unless you really know what you’re doing.

@@CK-iv1lq And plus the final boss is a bit harder this time around. Sure you could beat Ganondrof at the start of the game but prepare for pain in doing so. Nintendo learned from their mistakes in BOTW

You don't even need the glider to reach Ganon. It's very painful to do so though...

There's a guy who calls them that near Hyrule Castle.

Its funny cuz Nintendo went directly out of thier way to patch out speedrunning tech

Idk, I know it's early but I feel like BotW was built better for speedrunning. TotK I think will all depend on if you can abuse the craft system really hard or not.

I always kinda felt it would be there, or the sky directly above somehow. Fighting Ganondorf on a sky platform wouldve been so cool

@@bottlerocketgaming1025 I think that’s the point. The depth is measured based on sea level. So they really had to descend for a couple hours. Question is where tf is the entrance. I tried finding the entrance Link and Zelda used but I simply cannot find it. Either Hyrule Castle rising destroyed it or its somewhere I haven’t looked. No way did they use the chasm as it didn’t exist back then

@@theakiwar9118 there is a cave system from the castle gatehouse all the way to lookout landing, and it does lead in to the chasm, so the stairs or whatever probably got destroyed

LOL no.... No you didn't. It is absolutely not possible to reach the final boss without the Paraglider.

@@skins4thewin you absolutely can, everything you can do with the glider you can do with a zonai wing. Except climbing down the long gloom shaft because there is no space to deploy a wing, but you can just climb that down manually (plenty of spots to rest). I don't care if you don't believe it, it's not like it's an achievement or something, it's pretty dumb in fact. I died a lot.

I imagine they’ll glitch in royal guard claymores and silver lynel saber horns out of the blue because they just CAN. I’m very excited to see what they will do since they can no longer wind bomb to travel quickly!

They probably got rid of all the other BotW speedrun glitches such as BLSS, Whistle Sprinting, and Shield Skew

How do you beat the first boss in the boss rush without the paraglider tho?

@@catalyst539 I didn't, I fought the horde and decided that was enough for me and left to actually experience the game, I went because I could immediately after the tutorial, I didn't even have the paraglider yet hence why I ended up figuring out you don't need it to get there.

@@austin5259 You asked if they meant the army of monsters (mob), when they meant Colgera. That is what I meant.

I've heard he can break the hylian shield in 2 hits so good luck

@@Blue-mp5qc speaking from personal expirence, he broke every single one of my 60+ shields including the hylian shield with only 20 hits or less to break each one, also the timings of his attacks are so weird plus my man can flurry rush you

A month? Try 30 years bro.. This is how Ganon looked in OoT (90s graphics aside ofc).. only new Zelda players get shocked seeing how ganon looks 🙄🙄

You can easily kill him without taking a single hit, that's how I beat the game early when I went there, just need some good weapons and dodges

​​​​@@xavierkittreles2711 nah there's speedruns up where they basically skill issue gannondorf, and you can actually afford to get hit by his gloom attacks since they just delete your heart container instead of actually doing damage to you, which is especially nice since you'll probably be at 1 heart from wading through gloom for the past half hour with no items.

You say that like it's not that hard.

@Xavier Kittreles It's hard but certainly not impossible, people have done no hit runs of stuff like Dark Souls and that's way way harder I assure you

@@michaelchen9705 not really. The hardest part was the bokoblin wave cos of how many of them there were. But all I had to do was rocket shield to gain height and blast em with bomb arrows and muddlebuds

How were you not terrified? I was shivering hearing that theme of the beginning but slower and scarier (mind you I had good gear and all sages and the master sword)

I can tell you what the murals depict. Spoilers obviously if you want to proceed One Shows how Rauru is fighting/sealing ganondorf One shows how Zelda received the broken mastersword One shows the dragon of light being born

Bombing it literally does nothing, other than show it

There’s actually 6 bosses, cause there’s 5 temples instead of 4 and an additional boss from after you do the 4 regions

I stocked up on weapons in hyrule castle and just dropped down there, since it was my first encounter with all of the bosses it took a few tries but yeah, it's very doable from the start of the game, you just need a bit of prep before you go in, and the final boss is pretty easy all things considered

For the four Gloom Monsters, just spam puffshrooms and/or the other one that makes them fight each other.

You can't die of fall damage in the Dragon Fight, you'll just be teleported back at 'Zelda's head and you can jump down again and kill the dragon, that's it.

@@jamestdfm eyeball attached arrows can reach the boss from the ground level with long shot bows during bullet time. So you can just shield jump bullet time it. Would take a lot of materials but is technically possible. Not to mention you can use auto build to get a flying machine setup to get additional height if but yeah the setup would take so much time.

@@jamestdfm I mean like the only reason you wouldn't be using the paraglider is a minimum percentage run or a no paraglider run in specific.

I just used chuchu arrows, was hella fast and pretty easy

Yeah, the bosses hit crazy hard in their rematches/ war in the depths of hyrule fights

That's sad if u try to attempt it again make sure u have atleast 6 or more hearts and have master sword. If it breaks use a 30 base weapon like fierce diety sword and lastly I reccomend getting all 5 sages

Yea you just get a star to your save files and a cutsene
