I can remember those days I have four girls all grown with their own kids now. My one daughter kept up with the styles of hairstyles back in the nineties and she had me to do hair the way the trends were going at the time. I was so happy when they started doing their own hair. I’ve just started binge watching your videos…. I’ve always wanted to be able to braid my hair…. I’m white with very frizzy wavy hair and it’s never looked good in any kind of style….. my mum used to ‘French plait’ our hair when we were kids but didn’t use product and that’s where she went wrong she always got the partings on point but because she didn’t use product our hair would fall out as soon as she let us go play.
Her hair is so cute! 🥰 Omg 😳 where did the time go? My daughter started doing the same thing around 9 years old. I was so sad when she said she didn’t want barrettes anymore. When she was about 10 she started telling me how she wanted her hair styled. 😞 She’s 13 now, and tries to wear my clothes, jewelry, shoes, ect…🤦🏽♀️

*My mom would shampoo my hair and “plait it up” like that on Friday and then I’d be tortured for at least an hour on Saturday morning getting it pressed so it was ready for church on Sunday* ❤ *Where’s your niece? The one who looks like she can be your daughter. I haven’t seen her for a minute or maybe I missed it* *I wish people could see your videos and learn how to do baby hair🤦🏽♀️Sometimes I see people do it and it’s like a whole bang was slicked down and swirled😳*
Wait until she starts to disagree with your clothes/shoes/sense of style for her... I know my little tween is not having it. I'm like, I ALWAYS get compliments on how I dress/style you and your siblings but she could care one bit.
