Can You Burn Anthracite Coal in a Regular Wood Stove?  

I have used anthracite for years, it does all my radiators and supplies us with loads of hot water, very clean coal also. Yes as you say, once you get used to burning it, it isn’t a problem to burn it. Kind regards from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. P.S. sadly in Scotland the price of anthracite has went through the roof.

Coal the best but be careful, it can get too hot.

How often do you reload the stove? Or how long is your burn time?
