Much easier to purchase a handgun (pistol) in Canada than in California (2nd Amendment not honored here). That's if one is a Canadian citizen, unfortunately a minor hurdle.
You don't need to be a citizen. If you don't live here you'll need a "in good standing" letter from the police department where you live. If you have residency but aren't a Canadian citizen then there are no extra hurdles you have to go through.
Comparing apples to oranges, hopefully you do know that Mexifornia is NOT a country (like Canada, where very restricted gun laws cover ALL ten provinces and three territories) and you can easily move out of that particular one-political party s*hole state and establish residence for instance in Texas where... it's like a whole other country! IF you ever happen to be in beautiful Galveston, TX, go to Sgt Mac's Gun Shack (right across from Academy Sports + Outdoors, all type of guns in there as well), Phillip the owner (retired decorated US Marine Vet) and rest of the great crew will be glad to LEGALLY sell you any type of firearm you are in love with including Mossberg 590 Shockwave sadly prohibited for export outside USA due to very strict US State Dept ITAR rules and regulations (shotgun barrels shorter than 18"). Or The Arms Room and/or Cabela's in League City, TX as well. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I have few questions: 1. Can I apply for PAL and RPAL same time? or Do I have to get the PAL first and then apply for RPAL after? 2. If I buy a Gun, is there anyway to store it securely like a GUN storing service? Like a monthly paid storage?
