20:45 The Black Majesty stared defiantly at his counterpart. Not so long ago he had seemed so far away but now he stood in his hall, on his rank, among his men. Ever the eloquent gentleman a soft greeting left the White Majesty. “Ah, I hope your travels were pleasant Black King. Did my men treat you well?” His Black Majesty could feel the veins in his forehead throb as he fought to hide his grinding teeth in the face of the White Majesty’s thinly veiled snark. “They were quite insistent on my movements. They didn’t show me the courtesy of allowing my respite.” His Black Majesty’s normally booming voice seemed so quiet in the White King’s hall. The White King on his part chortled softly and absentmindedly fidgeted with the golden clasp on his cloak. This time there was no suppressing the growl creeping from the Black King’s throat. His opponent was playing coy, as if this were meeting were some banquet or social party rather than the product of his underhanded tactics. To march one out of his own territory and force him into the walls of his greatest enemy as if he were a caged lion with no teeth was the highest form of disrespect the Black King could think of. “Oh-ho-ho, please, do not hold it against them. I gave my men orders expressly to get you here as quickly and safely as possible. We wouldn’t want something truly unfortunate to happen when we are so close to peace, yes?” The haughty White King asked. “Peace?!” The Black Majesty roared in anger, thoroughly tired of his humiliation. “You may barge into my home and chase me out of my lands, but so long as I live I will evade you at every turn! And while you clumsily fumble around with your troops my superior army shall come crashing down on you like the wrath of the heavens! So enjoy the sweet taste of your half hearted and empty victory, for it will soon turn to the bitter taste of ashes at my hand!” A deafening year long moment of silence passed inside the hall of the white army before… laughter. Maniacal, booming laughter bounced off the walls as the White King stood with his head thrown back, eyes screwed tight and mouth agape with a river of humour. “Oh my poor fellow monarch, do you really not see it?” He asked in a high voice shaking with the remnants of amusement. “Allow me to explain in one word why you will surrender to me and your army will never come save you.” With a smile on his face the White King stepped to the side, unveiling a cannon manned by half a dozen men. “Checkmate.”

To actually walk the opponents king across the board like that. Beautiful is the only way to describe it.

I was so proud when I intentionally stalled winning a game to maneuver my pawn and rook to set up a discovered checkmate with a king move.

12:09 Queen to E6 could’ve been a fatal blunder for Thomas. Best move was probably to trade knight on E5 to prevent a mate in two. The mate in two is KnightF6 check and then Queen H7 mate.

I would have wanted to castle for the check mate but I really did loved his example on why he did it

Castling is a defensive move so to be able to use it offensively is the much more stylish win

I like the castling checkmate idea, but his reason is great. Plus, getting a checkmate from a piece that never moved may be slightly better, imo.

You should do an analysis on the final game of searching for bobby fischer, the movie was incredible and it is something I would like to see

Castles checkmate would have been great, but I personally think it's more awesome that he was able to checkmate with the rook without it ever moving the whole game.

I think the chess board is the house of staunton standard traditional teak/birds eye maple chess board and the chess pieces are the classic wooden from chess.com I just can't tell what size the pieces and squares are
