Took a small trip to go to the Verdon Grand Canyon again! Always such a nice run! This time round we had a bit more water than the usual dam release, 20m3 was perfect - everything goes, less portaging, enough water to cover all the rocks.

shiiiit...nice run. This section of the verdon gorge is on the top of my wish list. But I guess my Packraft is to "fat" for such small holes. 😥

You can for sure do 95 percent of the river, many of the small holes are easily portaged and there are often alternative lines...I just like the tight ones haha. This run is frequently packrafted and a good multiday too, you can do it in 2 days no problem!

I'm curious, how many portages are left at this level?

it's actually a great level, there are less portages than with less water... but more water would lead to more portages haha, we did 2: a tree branch blocking the line in the first half (not a normal portage), and the cavaliers siphons, but only the first one, the second siphon can be paddled over at this level
