Also, perfectionism is the enemy of, what was it, doing things? A lot of things you are critical of, no one else might ever notice. (I'm just assuming though, just keep going, you are doing a great job!)

Kinda random, but I just wanted to point out how fun and satisfying it must be to sit in that chair! With a mountain of your art behind you, and a very satisfyingly organized yarn library! I would like to have that someday; just a big pile of all the little things that I make. I actually got the desk I have specifically for that, (it has a shelf above the actual desk part) But it’s way cooler and more impressive for you, because you created all of those yourself! You wrote the pattern that brought them to life, whereas I’d just be following a tutorial. But still! I just wanted to literally just complement you on how ridiculously cool your background looks, and how proud and accomplished you must feel when you look at it❤ (I could also write a whole book on how unnecessarily ridiculously talented you are, but then I think my fingers would fall off, because that would be like an hour of typing!)❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Love your content, so far you're the only person I've found making patterns on the fly, and I love how you include your thought processes, tricks, and the struggle of being creative in a physical space. You're an amazing inspiration and get me excited to pick up my hook and riff out a new design with every video I watch. And I think that's the most wonderful part, you aren't inspiring me to follow along and make what you're making but instead give me courage to express myself in my own ways.

after having seen you make the first two I was going through one of those larger *Asian/cheap shops looking for stuff for another project when I spotted the canvases..I looked at the prices of ones about the same size as you used and discovered that they were asking a small fortune for them..I then spotted a pack of 5 4.5cm* for under $4..so I thought, hmm🤔, maybe I can make four or five of these and put them together..I also purchased an A4 size magnet sheet ..I'll cut it up to fit behind each canvas because the small canvases are flat ones..when finished I can then put them on a fridge.. camelia's are a winter flower, not spring..

what is the single crochet slip stitch method? :O
@ComplicatedKnots
@ComplicatedKnots 25 дней назад
When working a flat piece, alternating between rows of frontloop-only slipstitches and single crochet over the top of them. Keeps all your single crochets facing the same way, so it makes for a more uniform look, but it makes your stitches thicker. It's also twice as much work compared to just single crochet XD
