Rumor is it will b another fight night clarissa shields said in an interview she got a call from them to be in an upcoming playstation boxing game she stated FN4 but who knows how true it is
Dutch Van Der Linde not true some of them are just wrestlers some of these boxers are big tall brawlers and are way heavier and have faster hands then most mma fighters technique can’t outweigh physics mcgregor wouldn’t last a sec with mike Earnie shavers or Holyfield stop being a dumbass mcgregor wouldn’t even be able to get in on wladimkr klitsko he’s too big
King Crash of 1400 They always do. I name those guys because there hasn’t been this much interest in the heavyweight division of boxing since the 90’s.
I remember first seeing Tyson in some NES game, where he knocks you down with just one punch. I was thinking "Come on, it's to difficult, it's unrealistic!" Then I realized that in real life everything would have happened just like that.
I don't know if anyone else heard it but he said Mike lacked speed and I got pissed because that is not true at all. I based my boxing technique off mike with the peekaboo style and I had lots of speed and power.
This is a shitty game, butter bean is way too fast, i know he is fast for his size but the game makes him look like fat bruce and also mike tyson's abilities are drastically underestimated in this one. Overall a very pathetic game.
@@167kinggam Hey dumbass, you ever played Final Fantasy?. How can they get a game right like that, but not give any respect to one of the greatest fighters of all time?. Some people is right.
@@legalam yeah. Fight night champions is a true masterpiece. They all are, but champions has a warm place in my heart. Never got rid of my copy. Still play online on the xbox one WEEKLY...
Butterbean who despite being a great fighter was not the KING of anything in boxing. But in the game he is fighting other legends like himself or greater than he was
I am absolutely loving the amount of variety in content of this channel at the moment Martial! I'd love to see you go back in time and revisit some other older games such as the old MMA games on PS2 like Pride FC: Fighting Championships or Mike Tyson Heavyweight Boxing etc. Great video as always though Martial and it's always fantastic to see some love be given to the legend that is Butterbean!
MIKE TYSON WOULD HAVE BEAT BUTTER BEAN ASS MIKE TYSON HELD 3 BELTS THE IBF WBC WBA BUTTER BEAN NEVER WAS A TRUE CHAMP MIKE TYSON AND MUHAMMAD ALI ARE THE TWO YOUNGER HEAVYWEIGHT S THAT EVER WON A BELT AT THE AGE 18 MUHAMMAD ALI AND MIKE TYSON AT 19 BUTTER BEAN DON'T COME CLOSE TO THEM MUHAMMAD ALI WAS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME AND MIKE TYSON WAS THE BADDEST MAN ON THE PLANET AND BUTTER BEAN NEVER HELD A BELT
@@christopherfountain7801 bruh Mike Tyson said he's belts ain't shit so you shouldn't praise him for getting them if even he doesn't think they're anything
I think it's also because boxing isn't like it was before, mma is growing more and more and the interest is high. But hopefully with the big matches we've had recently and will have in future ,in boxing, it will wake up EAs interest again. There are certainly a bright future with some big newcomers coming..
@@adelinobabic3378 Yeah, the heavyweight division has become really fun to see again, it hasn't been this fun in like 20 years or more, we have Tyson Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Chisora, Whyte, Ortiz, Ruiz, Dubois, Usyk, etc.
What I love about this video is that this fight was supposed to happen in real life back in the day Butterbean is billed as "the king of the four rounders" and you put Mike Tyson down in the fourth.😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Bravo sir!
LiveNowBeFree He’s not as good as Mike, and he hasn’t faced the opponents Mike did. He’s got freakish power, but his combos are fucking goofy and he does not have the movement or hand speed Mike had. Please don’t compare them. Wilder has miles to go to get to prime Mike status. He’s gonna get KO’d by Fury
That's what I love about this game is that you can tell if they're getting gassed without the HUD. Shit like that is what makes me appreciate games sometimes
If they ever make another fight night they should add the ability to change to any block type/style type etc with a selection wheel. Also controls for proper head movement (not just body movement) such as feints, slipping etc etc can you imagine how awesome the learning/skill curve could be. That would truly be a next gen boxxing game. Good video man 👍
Against amateurs and dudes who thought they were boxers, he didn't fight actual pro fighters, this dude cheated to beat a CPU, what you think real fighters would've done to butterbean
The game actually did a fair job of emulating Tyson’s actual style. Head slips, weaves, and fakes to get close enough for huge power shots. The only thing is Tyson was far more economical with his punches and wouldn’t through errant punches but this IS a video game lol. Nice job but really wish they incorporated his signature right to the body duck, and huge right uppercut immediately thereafter.
Me and my boy loved this vid and we love the game. Good father and son bonding game 👍🏻👨👦Do you agree with me it’s really time for another boxing game to come out on next gen consoles?
On Fight Night Round 2 (PS2) you could beat heavy weights with Sugar Ray Leonard... Joe Frazier, Sonny Liston and Rocky Marciano were possible to beat because they fight on the front foot. They always come forward and they're the aggressor, as Sugar you just use the speed of movement. Stay close enough to keep them throwing but just out of range. Use the block button to block the head, it slows your movement but it forces them to throw to the body which slows their movement too... Let them wear themselves out from throwing a few punches and then come in with (or stop and let them walk on to) a jab and back off again. Do that for 6 - 7 rounds and you've won every round on % of thrown and landed even if you only threw 15 - 20 punches (jabs) per round. By then they're fatigued and have vastly reduced punch power. Then Use the X button or the L2 R2 buttons for the special punches as they're moving forward and they walk on to them, then jabs or block head while backing away... You can usually get a KO by round 10 - 11 That game killed my controllers, all the L1 and R1 buttons stopped springing back out.
Yo Martial, do you think that the departure of Geoff Harrower from EA means that they finished UFC 4 and because of the end of the deal between EA and the UFC is the reason why he left?
this is like normal mode on fight night round 3, in the hardest mode you can barely get off a punch with it being parried, they must have turned down the difficulty lol
@@milkweedreflections You're new because I've seen plenty and I disagree. FNR4 was clunky trash for me. Round 3 too. Champion was a massive upgrade and the KO system was the best by far and the Full Spectrum Control system was awesome and made punches much easier to throw quickly. I do wish Champion had some features that Round 4 had though like choosing your boxer's best punch.
I used to do this all the time. Just learn to counter, then cut Tyson on both eyes. Then carry on hitting the cuts. The ref will stop it or he will go down in the later rounds. I used to fight the best fighter with my low star created fighters just to test myself. Once you learn how to set up the counter punch you can beat any fighter with lower level characters. Edit: I just remembered now that the best counter is the upper cut, by pressing both left or right punch buttons together. Oh the memories :)
Beating Tyson on the highest difficulty is actually really easy, because he is shorter and throws a lot which means you can counter him easily, just lean back and pop him,
K. Fair point, ali is harder; but personally for me getting tyson on the highest difficulty doesn’t take more than a round; the brawler style just makes it easy easy to counter
@N bro that shit wasn't fair man that fight damn near broke my spirit 😂 when I finally won after god knows how many tries it was like I won the lottery 😂
Even my positronic brain cannot conceive of Butterbean being the WORST fighter of the game. There must be someone worse than him, otherwise this would be insulting.
so i came across this bit of commentry once when i was using my custom boxer to fight ali. my boxer was white(yes this is important) and at round 6 when i was losing, one of the commentators really let out some really inspiring stuff like ali letting out his primal rage, all that anger from his kind being oppressed by the whites in vengeance or something like that(these arent the exact words but they’re quite similar) i tried looking it up but i couldnt find similar results online so figured i should share it here
I one punched a Mike Tyson online using Butterbean. I thought "Well if I'm gonna lose I might as well have an excuse". First punch i threw was a haymaker cross and the fight just ended lmao
Yep! Played FN2004, FNR2, FNR3, FNR4 and Champion... They really nailed it with Champion! Never have they made a game that works with a controller as well as Boxing can! It's the simple fact that there's 3 basic punches! I still play this game!
@@jaybeam1466 how was round 3 better when there was an invisible wall in between the 2 boxers preventing them from getting to close ? That eliminated inside fighting completely. Don't get me started on the unrealistic parry system that left the opponent frozen for 3 seconds. Or the instant KO moment punch /Haymaker you could throw while they're frozen, to instantly KO or stun them. Lmao !!!
Butterbean weighs 2x as much as Tyson but it doesn’t look like it all all... they should have made him bigger 🤷♂️ Edit: The best boxing game of all time in my opinion is still Buster Douglas boxing on Sega Genesis LOL
I played Fight Night for the 1st time in years last night. I never searched for it in RU-vid, google, whatever. 1 day after I played on my xbox offline, this video pops up recommended.
This is cool. I've been away from gaming since ps2. I bought a ps3 and 4. I should pick this up. Beans isn't quite as chunky in the game, but this has some great animation, and the vo is really on point too.
Mike Tysons punch out from 1987 will always be the best and my all time favorite. It was such a pleasure to actually go to a real Tyson fight in person
Cause he was never really a boxer, he was always way more of a guy who ran at you and threw nothing but power shots instead of being technical, which is why he won so much was because no one fought anybody like butterbean who was someone who just walked forward and threw haymakers.
@@skullenti because all of his wins doing his tactic was against amateurs but when he got up to the big leagues, it didn't work to well in his favor, but that was his legacy, a hard hitter but only if it landed.
@@DEV46546 The reason he's rated so low probably has to do with the fact he's widely seen as a novelty fighter (somewhat unfairly as he did hold the IBA World Championship at one point in his career and he did go the full 10 rounds against Larry Holmes). Also, the vast majority of Butterbean's fights were scheduled for less than 6 rounds (he simply lacked the stamina to go longer as the man weighed close to 400 lbs). Most people see anything less than 8-10 rounds as a gimmick/not a real match (this isn't exactly fair either as 4 round matches are a thing in and of themselves requiring their own particular strategies and fighter composition). This has to do with most widely broadcast fights being 10 rounds (and sometimes, but rarely, 8). So, the reasoning behind ranking him so low would be that he's seen as a novelty fighter. On top of that, he lacked sufficient stamina (meaning he didn't partake in fights of the most popular format). Butterbean was a slugger (god-given attributes gifted him a fighter). However, he still knew what he was doing in the ring (he fought with the strategy of a short round fighter). Also, suggesting that he won 77 fights because people couldn't develop a game plan against him is kind of dumb. You could maybe argue that some fighters weren't suited for a 4 round format but not being able to develop a game plan because he was a slugger doesn't make much sense. Boxers prepare for fights by watching hours of tape and analysing the technique and strategy of their opponent. People fighting Butterbean knew exactly what they were getting into (i.e. a short fight against a powerful/tough opponent). Saying he was 'never really a boxer' is also dumb. He was a 'boxer.' He was a slugger who fought short fights. George Foreman was a slugger (especially after his comeback). Also, being a slugger-type doesn't preclude tactical considerations (look at Foreman's fight against Moorer). However, the format Butterbean mostly fought in played specifically to his particular gifts (in a game that I'm guessing emphasizes 'standard' length fights he wouldn't be a good choice because it's not his wheelhouse).
