Tip: When junking large mirrors, buy a cheap tarp at the hardware store that is larger than the surface area of the front and back of the mirror. Fold the tarp over the mirror covering both sides of the mirror. Duct tape the 3 sides of the tarp to completely enclose the mirror. Hit the mirror a few times with the back of the spade of a long-handle shovel while trying not to allow the sharp edge of the shovel to touch the tarp. The goal is to completely enclose all the broken glass inside of the tarp. This will make transporting the mirror easier and safer. The tarp will obviously be junk but the cost can be included in the job bid price. One 11x11 feet tarp cost $7 which is large enough for the mirror in this video. After the mirror is tarped and taped, start hitting it with the shovel from one side to the other, chipping away at the mirror little by little is better than large pieces that will cut the tarp. Transport the broken mirror inside the taped tarp with a large cardboard box, this way you only touch the tarp/mirror once. Again, add the tarp cost to the job.

👍 You definitely work hard! 💪 So I don't know if this will help you but I joined a lot of Facebook groups for the type of work that I'm involved in and one of the biggest issues is pricing. That's because there's no standardization in the industry. Some goofy people will argue. You're ripping somebody off, other people will argue. If the customer's happy paying it then they're not being ripped off... yada yada. My philosophy is never do any job for less than what the customer will cost themself doing it, if he had to get the truck; get the dump trailer or the roll off or whatever is needed to complete the job. Then you have to charge more than what all that pricing would add up to because the customer is not doing the labor themselves - you are. The reason I mention this is because I said in one of your other videos there's no such thing as half work, a half day or a half load. There is truth to this. Yes there are multiple ways of looking at this. But if the industry understood what it would take for the customer to remove the junk themselves they would see it would cost the customer more then a half load or a half day of work. On top of that the customers who are capable of doing this work and the ones that It would take less than a half day Don't need to hire you in the first place They're only doing it because your price is less than their worth so let those people do their own work. If you charge double what you are and do half the work you're doing, your bottom line is still the same. The only thing that changes is you put half the wear and tear on all your equipment including your body so in the end you could work longer and harder to make double your money. In my teens and twenties I had all the energy in the world and things came easy to me so I worked as hard as you do. In my thirties I started to figure it out. In my 40s I work 75% less and make 100% more money now because I learned got educated got smart and became intelligent. - No I don't rip people off. I go above and beyond and do a better job than others but now I get paid properly for it. I brought up the Facebook groups earlier because I'm the type of person that wants everybody to succeed and I try to tell people this on Facebook groups some learn it some don't and that's just the way it's going to be but for the ones who learn it it actually makes my life easier because there could become some kind of standard pricing that occurs in such an ignorant industry so by helping others you also help yourself. Now don't go and misunderstand and say I'm calling you ignorant (I'm not) -because I don't know what you're charging - and that is not the reason for this comment. I'm just giving 30 years worth of advice in a short comment so obviously it's going to be hard to get the whole point of across. Good luck 🤞🍀

I would charge a full trailer for all that remodel debris because drywall is heavy which means dump fees are higher.

The walk-in cooler panels could be sold. The insulation is VERY expensive and takes a million years to break down. They can sit outside until sold on FB marketplace or check for local commercial salvage resale companies to buy it. I bet you could get $75 for each panel.

😂 I did a clean out and they had a diaper genie that had old diapers full of urine. The smell was unreal. The problem is that they didn’t say there was urine.

I forgot it was in the trailer and I dumped it at the dump. I realized it a half hour later and went back. By then it was buried in trash nowhere to be found. Super bummed. This plastic junk is ok but not near as sturdy.
