Total Income = 5 lakh. Let x be the total amount. We know that 3 percent of x is equal to 15,000: (3/100) * x = 15,000 To find the value of x, we can solve for it: x = 15,000 * (100/3) x ≈ 500,000 So, the total amount is approximately Rs 500,000.
