Thank you very much for the perky dive, I supported the original kickstarter and was sucked back into the iOS environment… waiting a couple extra weeks for red :p here to see about what I have already bought. This was my favorite ever form factor!!! Oh my lord to have my phone around my neck with my prayer malas again, it’s just so easy! :)

I guess it's kinda understandable, that people will wonder, if such a small phone can do X or Y. But people should realize, this thing is a fully featured smartphone. It's not a toy or a washed down gadget, it is 100% smartphone, just in a smaller shell with a small screen. I have replaced my trusty Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as a daily driver with this cute little phone and it's got about the same processing power, everything opens instantly and runs smoothly. I wouldn't daily it, if it was a slow toy. Typing is very tricky for sure, but other than that, this phone is especially awesome for 1-handed use. You can easily reach everything. And due to it's thick for factor, it just feels right in the hands. I just started using it as a daily driver, and I don't think this is gonna change anytime soon. Maybe it's not gonna be in use for 6 years like the Note 8, but certainly a few.

I am using a Cat S22 Flip atm, I only use its navigation keys and the hardware buttons which replace the on screen buttons. It's a bulky device with some useless buttons to me, so I think such a device would be the next step.

@@josemanuel2244 Very good, I cannot complain. Basically I agree in every point with the statements in the videos from this channel here. And it helped reducing my screentime! ONly downside: No charging station for the two pin connector available.

Im concerned about the reliability and customer service on this phone its not so cheap. What's your opinion?

It's no secret that Unihertz support is a little ropey, but from what I've found dealing with them, they have been great. I fear the 'problem' will be the updates/support on the phone itself, but with it being Android 13 I am pretty confident it will last a while.

I daily’ed the jelly 2 since December 2020 till about mid 2023. I can tell you there will be no to little updates, I never got one on my phone. The reason why I don’t use the phone anymore is because the battery became weak plus I broke my screen. What I want to say is your good for about 2 to 5 years with maybe 1, 2 or even 3 updates in that timeframe. Does it matter? No not really. As long if you don’t do shady stuff with your phone its gonne be okay with so few updates. 2 to 5 years ehh the battery is going to be dead ☠️ and its gonne be a pain in the ass to replace it. Trust me I still have a spare battery for the jelly 2 lying around. Btw people gonna think your a drugs dealer. Be prepared to get a lot of questions when you daily this bad boy. So in conclusion buy the phone its gonna be worth it in my humble opinion. Especially if you want to spend more in time in the real world and less on your phone.
