Eye of the Tiger was their biggest hit, but Survivor also had Burning Heart (Rocky 4), The Moment of Truth (Karate Kid), Burning Heart, the Search is Over, High on You, etc. The band had only one #1 song, but 5 made the top 10. They weren't quite a One-Hit Wonder.

A-HA, not a one hit wonder. However the song everyone remembers them most is Take on Me. Rick Astley, also not a one hit wonder, but he is most remembered for Never Gonna Give You Up. But for those interested, A-Ha and Rick have tons of great music to listen too. Rick Astley also just put a new album recently. Check 'em out. 🎵🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵

I have never heard of Rick Astley being referred to as a one hit wonder. He had two #1 hits in the US ("Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Together Forever") as well as three other top 10 hits ("It Would Take A Strong Strong Man", "She Wants To Dance With Me", and "Cry For Help"). And Survivor had a #1 hit with "Eye Of The Tiger", but "Burning Heart" went to #2, "The Search Is Over" went to #4, and both "High On You" and "Is This Love" were also top ten hits. I hate when videos feature "one hit wonders" but don't know what the hell that actually means. Just because you only remember one hit doesn't meant the other multiple hits cease to exist.

I hope more people get to know Bobby McFerrin more, in a deeper way. I think many people only know "Don't Worry Be Happy" but he is a very special musician. He is a very talented jazz vocalist plus songwriter and his videos are fascinating. He uses many different parts of his body to create music. Imagine beatboxing, but taken to a higher level. He also demonstrates how to easily get an audience of strangers to use the pentatonic scale, "Ave Maria" being the piece he used as an example. He is a treasure.

9:39 Sorry; that riff is from "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie (1982). Vanilla Ice sampled it for his 1990 song "Ice Ice Baby", and published it without giving Queen or Bowie any credit.

Rick Astley had 5 top ten hits. Never Gonna Give You Up and Together Forever both hit #1. Cry For Help hit #7. She Wants to Dance with Me hit #6. And It Would Take a Strong, Strong Man hit #10. He had another really underrated top 40 hit in the 90's, Hopelessly. It hit #28, but it's such a great song and was able to get to #4 in the adult contemporary charts.
