When it comes to depression, anxiety, and addiction…the good days feel like they’re setting you up for failure, so the bad ones are worse. But it’s also, the higher he got when he was on drugs, he was willing to do more and more to keep it going…doing things that are against what he believes about himself. For combat veterans, this is considered a moral injury. Doing things that are anti their core selves, and beliefs. The man can write lyrics. He not only writes about his demons, but he observes them. That is the essence of meaningful writing.
Great reaction! You should check out some more BMTH, they're amazing! If you do check more of them out you'll find they are very diverse and you never quiet know what you're going to get from them but it's all great. Honestly I recommend any song by them.
