No, you don’t need to spend that much money in residency. I myself live in UAE 🇦🇪 and you can open a bank account even if you are not a resident ( AED 3,000 for one bank account)

I live in the UAE the country that has Dubai but i reside in Abudhabi the Capital and yeah if you want to live there you just have to work whether your a engineer, chef cleaner, teacher, financier or business man or entrepreneur if your doing something your good the reason is that your job will technically sponsor your stay/your residency and you can always extend your visa or you can do what he did anyways I wouldn't recommend Dubai the capital Abudhabi is better, also the country doesent want someone that won't work or won't invest also if your American or Westerner its paradise because companies would pay you higher salaries + more accommodation that's why 200,000 brits reside here. Every Brit that I see here is either a teacher in a private schools which are most schools or is working in some high end job the common factor is that they get paid really good salaries plus its safer than literally most or all western nations and tax free basically a weird hyper capitalist Halal (to some extent) Libertarian/rich guy paradise.
One thing that i love about dubai is that they use workers from 3rd world countries and make them work in really shitty conditions and give them little to no money🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣
There is NO work in their home countries due to corruption. And no one ‘makes them’ - they go so they can earn money to send back home. Google ‘remittances from Dubai’. Get educated and stop believing leftist mainstream media drivel.
Those workers are brought from poverty and given opportunities to work and earn. Something which is better than what their third world country provides. Many willingly choose to work even in harsh conditions just so they can provide for their families. The world ain't all fantasy and rainbows lil man
Remember people, $13 might not be that much. But remember the people trying to move to the UAE are from places like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Philippines or somewhere in Africa where $13 could be their pay check for the week. It’s not rich/middle class Europeans/Americans moving here, it’s migrant workers trying to send money back to their home county for their family to live on. And it’s not just the UAE, it’s Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi, Kuwait. All these countries import cheaper labour and the workers send half of their income back to the home country for their families.
@@joelz2255 well doesn't matter America or either third world..poverty and lasy people all around the globe. American poor stays on the streets steeling robbing but third world poor work to live by butt off because motherland teach how to live .....lol

The stupid thing about the visa is that regardless of that you own property in UAE, you have to renew it every 2-3 years. And cannot stay out of country for more than 6 months, or it will expire. Not worth the headache
Renewing isn’t that big of a deal takes like 1 week with the documents in place. Also most people are just going to use this to live in Dubai not really going to spend 6 months abroad maybe just summer months or even just stay in Dubai all year
@@AH-mj1rd Well i’m not a lawyer but it depends if they do a medical test or not for renewal. Very rare to catch those especially HIV if you use protection and monogamous anyways

A guy came to our office(in the US) to upgrade some software....he told he lived and worked in Dubai for 22 years. I asked him how was it (he is from Pakistan) he answered "UAE is the best and worst country"...I already knew what he meant.
Well yeah there is a huge different classes segerated by many factors. There are the local citizens, other gulf citizens, western expats, eastern expats in office jobs, and finally the labor class. So depending on your status, your experience will vary
If you are rich you can move on and stay in Dubai but for not rich it cannot afford,i must prefer to stay here in Philippines i own my own house and land and also a farm..
Crime. Tge Phil has more guns per capita than the US; gringos are kidnapping targets. PS - they have a thing called ‘air conditioning’ in DXB - look it up.
We live in UAE we moved here so there are more things to stay like get a car get a house or live in a building have a job spend more the 4 years here then u can get it easily
My guy, what are we talking about? Living costs in the UAE are lower than in major US cities. Unless you're living in some small village, the UAE is much more affordable.
There are several other ways to get residency in the UAE the investment is probably one of the most expensive options. Most get a residency visa through applying for a job in the UAE there are also freelance visa but do your research to find a repitable agency that is lisenced to process freelance visas, E-comerce visa, Also do not look for work while on a visit visa its illegal.
Once the ‘Line’ and Riyadh are built up, there’s gonna be a deflation in Doha and Dubai. The Arabs quest for wow factor to attract income has turned Cities into a trend, as a consequence cities will rise and fall
