Can you launch Mario through a stone block wall in Super Mario 3D World if a clear pipe is fast enough? I decided to add a custom clear pipe cannon and solid wall to the level Super Bell Hill in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury and test it out! Today we push the limits of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury with this unique gameplay on this new Nintendo Switch game, and Mario goes FAST!
A cannon like this could really help Mario in a speedrun! We increase the speed of the cannons and add more walls/ thicker walls, and we test out how collision and clear pipe cannons work in this game! :D

This concept would work really well in a troll level by making players choose between various pipe cannons: one too slow, one too fast, one trapping them inside blocks and the correct one.

@@db6862 so the first mario game was called “Mario Bros.” (outside of donkey kong ofc). that game isnt Super Mario Bros. but its actually a game where mario clears sewers of koopas and crabs. after that game, they wanted to release another mario game to be the mario for their NES. and they introduced the side-scrolling feature. but, they also introduced the “Super Mushroom” which makes mario big. that’s why every game since is named Super Mario [something]. because of the super mushroom.

“Safety first! (5 minutes into the video)” Hey, better late than never! On a serious note, I find it interesting that you can make Mario actually go fast enough to go through walls. I was thinking if something had collision, there’d be no way for Mario to pass through it regardless of how much speed he had. But games (or at least this game) clearly don’t work that way lol Great video as usual - it’s always evident how much time and effort goes into these!

Great question! All of the world map worlds are connected, but the actual game levels are all unique areas. But if you're interested in seeing what would happen if we added items and enemies to the world map, I made a video about that a few days ago! if the first shot you launched him through the entire level and death border... then launching him through anything is possible because you’re ignoring the collisions... the video could’ve ended after the first shot

That means, if a clear pipe is directly facing a solid block, it takes the speed of 100 for each block 100 blocks = 10,000 speed 25 blocks = 2,500 speed 500 blocks = 50,000 speed
