The differences are in the board types The dancer is broader and longer board, that has a bigger nose and tail to make room for dance moves. The downhill is designed to reach high speeds and be more stable. the Drop trough is a standard one with trucks that go through the board so it is completely flat but because it is close to the ground it is more stable

Wow the comments section for this video is utter madness. But those ollies are impressive (especially the drop through as being lower to ground I imagine much less pop) having recently got a skateboard, after longboarding, the main differences are that ollies are easier on that and when you mess up a longboard you have a whole load of board under you waiting to ruin your day. That aside I would love to see you ollie a loaded vanguard lol.

For the chode elitists, longboards were never really made for cruising, the history of longboarding is more of downhill and stuff like that. There is a entire side of longboarding that incorporates flip tricks and stuff while bombing hills. Its been around for a long time. Don't say, "just get popsicle then." These guys are skating and most have a popsicle for park days, just they like bombing hills aswell. Your knowledge of skating is that of my grandmother using a iPad, only knows how to get to Facebook, but doesn't is too stubborn to realize the rest. Like really, if all you see is the hipster pusher squads, then its time to reconsider what skating is. Like majority of skaters think bearings are what make you go faster, its your wheel size. Bigger wheel, with more contact patch, faster you go, bearings are for acceleration. Lol rant of the day because I hate the elitists in skating, if a person kickflips it, respect it.

If I could gain even a fraction of your skill my dude lol. I could never even manage to learn to Ollie a regular ass skateboard let alone a 46in dancer lol. Hell hand tricks still beat my ass. I cannot even begin to describe the amount of pain tiger claws have caused my shins and knees and I’ve only ever landed one.
