Aren’t they all rock songs tho? That doesn’t change the fact that they listen to rock. They could be like me who was born in a later generation where rock music isn’t really a thing and is trying to find good rock music even if it’s mainly the popular stuff. Liking the more popular stuff isn’t a bad thing!!

The first song I learned on my guitar was Smoke on The Water! I also learned Stairway to Heaven so if I were to go to a guitar store I could mess with some people.
As a headbanger myself, i knew all of these songs. I used to listen to them so much when i was younger, but now that i grew up a bit you'll find me listening mostly to the underground 70s stuff. It's not that i don't listen to popular rock songs anymore, ofc i do, everyone does. But the obscure 70s stuff have a lot of hidden gems.
