Hi all. Sorry - Question 1, should say SUNLIGHT into electricity, not THERMAL energy into electricity (The image and answer are correct) on Question 23, the correct answer is cataracts, not glaucoma. Sorry, I don't usually make mistakes like that. I hope you still enjoy the quiz. Ben😁😁

Question 23 is incorrect. Glaucoma is a nerve damage, cataracts are cloudy lenses.

@@Quizzes4UNo worries, to err is human. What I suggest is you reintroduce a similar question in a later quiz with the correct answer, or do that several times. I like how you already do that, which is why I learn so much from your quizzes, through repetition. 👍🏻

Thank you for adding American measurements. Yes, Question 23 is incorrect. The correct answer is “Cataracts.” 62/75. And Monet painted the water lily sequence from his home in Giverny, France.

Question 1: Photovoltaic panels don't convert thermal energy, but photons (light) into a flow of electrons. It's not related to heat at all, PV actually loses efficiency in high temperatures

65, but the one with the cloudy lens was wrong. It is called cataract. A glaucoma is increased pressure in the eye.

67/75 with the options; 51/75 without. Don't know about the Q60 bonus, but think it might be 'Skyfall'. Q63 bonus is Claude Monet. Should have had David Jason as a wrong option for Q62, as a nod to 'Inside No. 9'... 😉

@Quizzes4U Q 54) This is a very well-known history lesson: Roy Horn was not “attacked” by the tiger. There was a lady in the audience who approached the stage unprovoked, and the tiger thought she was going to attack Roy. The tiger instinctively responded by grabbing Roy by the neck to move him away from the attacker, as she would do with one of her cubs. The tiger did not realize that the human neck can’t take a tiger’s teeth with that much pressure.

Excellent quiz, nice range of topics, and a mix of easy, moderate, and hard questions. I scored 68/75. A point of disagreement though ... Why include a Star Wars question without a Star Trek question? Star Trek is now 60 years old with hundreds of TV episodes and movies, while Star Wars hasn't hit 50 yet, with only 9 movies.

Hi there, The question about eye impairment has the wrong answer! With glaucoma the eye nerve is damaged. With cataract the lens gets cloudy!

74/75 M died in "Skyfall" and "The Waterlilly Pond" was painted by my favorite artist...Claude Monet . My husband and I hiked part of the Appalachian trail when we lived in North Carolina. He has been gone now quite a long time, but that is a favorite memory. Great quiz, as usual, Ben. Thank you for all the work that goes into giving us excellent and correct quizzes every time.
