Most people will not be able to spot the difference. Most people don't even take the time to contemplate if something is real or fake, they just react. I find this very scary and frustrating in a country with very little common sense and critical thinking. There must be some regulation on this tech before it gets out of hand.
Yep. It is hard enought knowing, that one of them is fake. If you see a video on TV, where most people would assume it is real, you will not search for details that are off.
This is scary. Except for the cat with 3 front paws and the lights off in the gallery, the rest were still hard to spot even after you pointed them out. Hard to believe anything anymore unless you are living it.
I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this but since I’ve seen the sora ai videos I now question a lot of video, to the point that now a lot of video, even totally real stuff, looks a bit fake to me. We really need to label AI content. Otherwise we’ll end up trusting nothing.
I Missed 4 and 5! But the animation was scary. I give them 2 years and we will be in trouble. This was great please do another with current technology involved. Thank you!
I got only 3 wrong at the beginning I can tell the fastest and easiest method to spot an AI generated is LIGHTING CONTRAST Any generated image is always in good contrast and good camera capture like artistic image, always HD But real image doesn't capture beautiful lighting contrast or color
We need a whole new kind of discernment to be good citizens. It would help to pace the examples slower with a longer pause of not talking. I hope you do a regular series of these, it is going to be a very important skill. (I flunked.)
Use words appropriately. Water doesn't look "really weird". It looks extremely close to how water would look. It looks more like water than animation could do. In actuality I think only frame rate is a bit slower. Really weird would be pink dots or something
I got all of them right on the first try. Only the eye one I paused before you said and had a 2nd glance at. ALL the AI examples in this video had unnaturla colours. Just too crisp and good to be true. The one with the chinese new year dragon is a good example, super sharp and contrasting colour while looking like 16k super OLED bluray production. Cameras don't do that. The skin on the eye one looked too good to be true as well. I don't know if I'm capable of distinguishing these without a comparison side by side of a norml video though! SO yes the future is scray boys and girls !
What program is used for the 3d Animation AI? Curious because I am teaching a digital literacy course and I want to demonstrate how easily people can create content that can be harmful. Thanks!
I got 7 right. I was mostly looking at the movement of the video, the slow ones were usually AI, although I know that this isn't really a true characteristic you can recognize AI videos by, 'cause some of the human made ones also had slow motion, but still it worked in that test, 'cause I got more than half right xD
I got just a little more than half correct mostly because the AI still tends to be too sharp yet lacking in details consistently. The close up of the eye might be easier for women to detect because we look closely at our eyelids while putting on makeup and spot all the variations in color and texture.
I only got 3 wrong, for now, ai is fairly easy to spot, for me anyway. I thought the eye was easy, the one I had a hard time with was the older guy with the glasses. Although you pointed out the skin tone, the hair and lighting were really good. Also, the "real" pic was blurry and lacked details. That's when it becomes difficult, when a real pic is blurry.
Got three wrong particularly because I assumed I was to only pick one out of last choice. The other two I got wrong was because I didn’t have enough time and only studied one of the two frames.
The eye one I got right. I could tell right away, there’s nothing behind those eyes, there’s no soul, there’s no conscience. An AI will never have a conscience, they will never feel empathy, ever! They’ll never have a soul!!
I got 3 wrong. Most that I got right weren’t big things I noticed, most of them were just a feeling I got looking at them but I didn’t exactly know why it didn’t look as real.
Showed this to my mother to help educate her on AI content (she is ALWAYS on FaceBook!) and she was CONVINCED you were AI at the end! Maybe she needs a little more education....
What would if the fun fact, both are AI generated and this video is AI generated 🏳️ Edit: Thanks for creating this video! looks like I can educate myself more from this video. Both video looks real, and looks like AI generated. I have ever created any AI images and rendered like it was real, because now its possible. Btw I am not an AI.
It was a lil to fast, but also the paintings on the wall of the Ai, couldn’t there have been a light behind the back top of the paintings? But then maybe behind the paintings on the wall were to perfectly shined out in the shape of a dome on the wall…….
The human brain and vision are amazing for spotting fakes, I had no trouble except for the cat because I hate cats and didn't pay attention. Tired of cat videos🤣
