Can you use a Macbook for Drone Mapping or 3D Modeling? 

Let's cut to the chase.
You can use a macbook to create drone maps and models, using CLOUD based software like ESRI's Site Scan or Drone deploy.
Albeit, the complex data projects, and the life like 3d models will require a windows based computer.
We also recommend knowing the systems of map and model creation. Its analogous to cars, if you know how to change a tire or change your oil, you be stuck in less hairy situations...always able to solve minor problems. The same goes for drone mapping.
We can't tell you how many students we have helped who process maps and models in cloud based systems, the deliverable didn't work, and they lost the client.
Don't be unprepared!!!! Know the system, it is hard... but its worth it if you don't want to lose clients.
