4:20 when the smolder ulted backwards it actually makes it harder to dodge. If you use it normally the enemy has time to dodge. You can sacrifice range and use it backwards so it hits quicker

At around 4:15, when Smolder sent the ult backwards, I laughed because he must have also watched the "high-elo" skill-capped video/short where they say to use it backwards because the start of the trail hits first, meaning at close range it's more like to hit where you want it to. Then they said he was an idiot, so I had to chime in on why he probably did that lol. Or who knows, he could have misclicked. 🤣

Smolder scales so hard in the late game. Even T1 had issues, until smolders dies. T1 vs Smolder, is a real thing.

Not to be “that guy”, but smolder ulting backwards is part of his tech. It starts a little behind him, so if you’re in range, it hits you way quicker and you have essentially no frames to react instead of a whole second or two.

5 miss fortune ults would go kinda crazy with a good flank or two. Perhaps 5 gangplanks? Easy enough to take out 1-2 barrels, but pretty much impossible to take out 13 of them. Every team fight would be one giant explosion.

I did this comp a while ago, it's so funny not dying, we have delayed the game so long the enemy started to split push, it was hilarious watching the enemy team mald against a team with all sorakas

Warmog's is secret OP for meme soraka builds. It's not hard to stay out of combat even while poking with Q/E, and W costs practically nothing if you've got warmogs. A bit of AP and you're suddenly a force multiplier. Just remember to W whenever you hit a Q to copy the hot. The tooltips are weird. Soraka is NOT an emergency "in the fight" healer, other than occasionally her R. She's a crazy sustain healer, and warmogs makes her oppressive. It's worth noting, unless something has changed, "in combat" status in league isn't contagious like in WoW. Healing an ally that's in combat doesn't put you in combat. Also I think your E silence doesn't put you in combat unless you hit them with the initial damage proc. At the beginning of siege, poke with Q and pass W's HoT. When combat begins, place strategic Es while spamming W, and break combat asap if you get hit, because you can spam heals like CRAZY if your warmog's is active. Just need a bit of AP to make the heals net positive

why is it that the first idea for a safeword wasn't "ulti"? also, at 4:15 the idea of sending smolder ult backwards isn't some random adc thing, but a tech for the ult to hit it's target faster. of course it only works if it hits, but don't berate them for this one :)
