I came across these videos a long time after they were posted but I really hope Ms Broadbent, her childrenand all the others who have left FLDS have found satisfying lives.
Another very brave woman and a good mother. Those who had originally gone to public school seem to find it easier to leave and break away because they've had some exposure to outside influences. The lack of qualifications is one of the biggest issues - if women are lawyers, doctors and all the rest at least we can then provide for our children. It is so much harder when the system pulls you out of school early so you don't have the means to earn a decent living.

This story... this mother seemed like she may have been a rebel back when she was a teen, even if she wasn’t im so happy she made it out. I know this posting is 6 years old but I’m so happy for her
I’ve never heard of breaking religion I’ll check it out but I can already agree because these lawyers gave their victims as long as a platform as they needed to share their stories
Her children brought true meaning to the words "in the struggle". I believe one video is called Mormon Polygamy: Leaving the cult. Jorjina's son Joe is featured. On 20/20: A house divided, Jorjina's daughter Sabrina is of topic. Both are on RU-vid.
It's sad, she says the woman are treated like gems? And also states the schools taught basic subjects, but then also says history was only about prophets. And the fact that she was a teacher but couldn't get a GED, a basic GED... and was allowed to teach in a school. It's concerning. The government should have stepped in in flds a long time ago..
I'm confused, I admit I am only at the 16 minute mark but I don't see a brave woman. I see a bitter woman and a woman that seems like she misses some aspects of that lifestyle.
I think that she is bringing out the fact that the women of Centennial park had some freedom and could choose their husbands. I think that she wishes she could have picked her husband. I think that she misses the family that she left behind.
