*As mentioned in the video, the white fish or white tune (escalar fish) is quite tasty and fatty, but having too much of that particular fish can cause stomach upset... escalar contains an indigestible fat/wax.
Very grateful to be back in Toronto again to meet up with some grateful people and I decided to spend the weekend exploring and visiting all the attractions. My first stop, after a nice end to the work week, is my stop to Canada's most iconic buffet, the Mandarin buffet...and it gets better because I think this is the largest Asian buffet in Canada, if not the largest buffet in Canada!
The visit certainly an astounding one; upon entering the buffet, one feels they were transported to a different time and place! Greeted with blue skies, a majestic waterfall, and friendly hosts and servers, one is all set for a great buffet dinner.
This is Canadian style Chinese food at its finest, lots of seafood, shrimp, salmon and further into the buffet, a nice luscious prime rib...and then, there are the desserts! stations after stations of cakes, pies, pastries and more!
