The empty load platform sort of says it all. I can remember being very enamored with this coaster many years ago but how technology and expectations have changed!
Yes this rollercoaster is rough as hell but that’s to be expected with a wood coaster that was built in 1981 when the park opened, and I do agree that this needs a serious retrack sometime soon! And for the load platform being empty? The water park has no water so that tells you it’s probably not the warmest outside,
Yes, and you can see the trees are beginning to change colour, plus it's overcast. I'm guessing this was filmed in late September and it was a chilly fall day. No wonder no one is there.
I felt like I was holding on for dear life on this thing... good ride but I think if I wasn't holding on so steadily I would have gotten bruised!! Would make a great RMC though.
Just because something is old doesn't mean its good, if its anything like dragons fire I wouldn't step foot on it, made the mistake of riding that and it literally fucking hurt to ride it.
i did this ride because i loved the wild beast. hated the first drop lol it felt way taller than wild beast but other than that it was pretty fun. that first drop scared me so bad tho lol
Only thing is that it's not very compact, so the amount of space to mess around is low. I think GCI remaking this would be great, and either RMC wild beast or a ground up RMC.
I enjoy this ride. Yes it is rough, but you can't help that it's an icon of this park. When I think of this park, I also do think of Mighty Canadian Minebuster. It's a name people remember, and is an iconic woodie of this park. Now even tho it's real rough, I don't mind it, since it's a classic, almost 40 years old, and for me that's fine. It helps to remember that I'm on a wooden coaster. Not saying that since this is my home park, but I say this because I like wooden coasters.
I went to Canada’s wonderland to day, and that’s definitely the SCARIEST ride at Canada’s wonderland in my opinion. Ie as more scared on it than Yukon striker!!!!!
Lol this ride is a headache I ride it before. My head was sore with a headache after this ride. Behemoth and Leviathan both very smooth then this ride that's for sure. Smooth gentle. I feel this ride was more scarier than behemoth Leviathan even though it was shorter than them don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this but that's okay that's how I think in my books.
I really hope the next new Coaster at Canada's Wonderland is T.G.C.M.B. RMC'd to the point that it gives Steel Vengeance a run for it's money! 😎 That would be awesome. It's either this one or Wild Beast. I'm predicting 2022.
I came across film (!) that my dad took of my visit to Canada's Wonderland in 1981, and it has a clip in it of the Great Canadian Minebuster. The park was a tad empty around it back then... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-10RA_X_MF9I.html
@@supermariosteven5279 I've been on both and there both ok but MCMB is way to aggressive and is almost hard to enjoy. Theres not much to enjoy on the ride and giving it that rmc treatment could add some elements that could be fun. They could to wilde beast to but the layout on Wilde beast is more generic. But minebuster is a very long and has lots of turns that could be incorporated well. But both could benefit from a rmc :)
Matt The Awesomer The way it shakes you around is the fun part about it. If a ride is too smooth, it’s like sitting in a chair. Shaking and jerking you around is fun and is the crazy and intense parts about it. Aggressive rides are the ride kind I like and you can totally disagree with my own opinion.
@@supermariosteven5279 Oh no I agree! Rides like the beast have a bit of a rattle but that gives it more of a old kinda wood fell. That's the point of a woodie. But I just found minebuster a little too aggressive. And I think the layout for minebuster is more diverse and may be better for rmc. But at the end of the day I think Wilde beast could also get the rmc treatment and I would be just as happy :)
