Thank you @CanadaDreamers ! We would be most interested in knowing the actual reason or Purpose of visit in your case (the cases of Pending Spousal Sponsorship applicants) - which was greyed out/hidden in your video. Please try to provide us with that exact reason (in generic way atleast, if not exact words) because that's what helps in getting Visa.
My upcoming hospital appointments. I had all required documents like prescriptions, previous visit proofs, my test results etc. So in my case, the purpose was strong.
Thank you for this helpful video. A few questions: 1) if one is applying for a VRS with dual-intent to reunite with their spouse and biometrics and medical were approved in their PR application, will IRCC accept the same approved biometrics and medical when the applicant is applying for a VRS? 2) If the spouse that is being invited doesn’t own property in their home country because they sold their property to prepare for the move to Canada (under PR) how can one write a strong case for this in the VRS application?
1. Medical is not required for visit visa. And yes same biometrics can be used for both applications. Just confirm with ircc once on the call. 2. you can show all documents and tell the reason why it was sold. I hope IRCC understands this. Tell that you were getting good rate by selling at that time. Etc.
Hi. Did you apply through new ircc portal or gckey??.. The reason I am asking is because, new ircc portal doesn’t really ask about letter of explanation in the document upload section. Thanks
Hello. Thanks for the informative video. I came here after listening to Minister Sean Fraser’s public announcement yesterday. He had said that the family members of Canadians can stay in Canada till their PR application is completely processed. Then, do we have to say that we will be returning on a particular date?
Hello, thanks for watching. Yes, it's always helpful if you be clear that you will not over stay and go back before the visa expires. This rule/announcement is pretty new, so we need to wait and see how it goes. I wouldn't take risk right now. May get some idea after few months. Please like share and subscribe 😊
@canadadreamers_ I appreciate the videos you post. They have proven to be extremely helpful. May I ask if this video still applies for the relatively new TRV category under dual intent for family reunification? When I go to the TRV portal, now the fist section allows us to apply for a TRV with an option available as "To Visit your spouse or Partner who has sponsored you for Permanent residence". If I were to apply under this category, do I still need to prove my spouse will be returning to India even though we've already applied for a PR under Family class?
Hi. I have applied for a spousal visa and the application is under process. However now I want to apply for a visitor visa, but my question is what if I am in Canada when I get the request for a passport visa stamp for spousal pr. Can I do that while in Canada?
Thank you so much for the informative video @Canada Dreamers, A quick question, under which section did you guys submit the "Explanation Letter". I've checked in the application portal but couldn't find the tab to submit that Letter.
Hi there ! I have one query regarding what you have told. Do we need a letter of invitation for following the above mentioned steps ? Or is it possible to do it without it ?
Hello, thanks for watching. Invitation letter is a simple invitation letter in which you ask the person to visit canada for so and so reason. Please watch my other video in which i jave explained the complete invitation letter format. Hope this helps. Please like share and subscribe to our channel 😊
Hi there, We just received AOR for my husband's spousal sponsorship a week ago. My husband has refusal for Canada study visa twice in 2016 and for US in 2014. Will it have any effect on visitor visa or PR application or future applications ?
Nope, just write all your previous visa application details and refusal, otherwise it will create issue. So you should not hide any details. It doesn’t affect any visa application in future.
we have to upload cover letter and explanation letter both or only explanation letter is enough. or one more question can we use digitally online bank statement or we have to get statement from bank with sign and stamp ?
Hello, thanks for watching. Only explanation letter should be enough. It also depends what all information you are included there. Plus also include the invitation letter. For the bank statement, yes you can use the online banking statement. They should have bank name, logos, bank address and other banking details. Hope this helps. Please subscribe 😊
Hi.. it's so very helpful topic! May I ask, what if trv granted and the person enters Canada already for a tourist visa / visit visa, is it possible for that person to accept a job? If yes, it won't affect the ongoing pr application under conjugal sponsorship... Please enlighten us with this matter, Thanks in advance to ur answer..
Thank you for watching our videos. Unfortunately no. It is not possible to work if a person is on TRV. Even If your PR application is in progress. Hope this helps. Please subscribe if our videos are helpful. 😊
Hello, thanks for watching. Yes, please mention that with all details. There is no harm providing this information. Hope this helps. Please subscribe 😊🙏
Hi @Canada Dreamer, I like your video explaining everything. I have a few queries related to the visitor visa. 1. My husband and I have already submitted our Express Entry Profile(Individually) i.e two active EE profiles. We both are working in India. We want to apply for a visitor visa for our daughter's summer vacation. In this case, will be able to get a Visitor visa?. 2. We don't have any sponsorship. Do we need to show the Hotel booking as well? 3. Does Flight ticket only PNR hold will work or do we need to confirm the flights? Can we both apply for a Visitor visa or only one can apply? Hope our EE profiles won't impact. Eagerly waiting for your advice. Thanks in advance.
Visit visa applications do not affect the express entry profiles. Its difficult to get a visit visa for your daughter alone. Because someone needs to be there to take care of her. Yours application is still in process. You all can apply for the visit visa and say that you want to visit canada for experience, and since your PR applications are in progress, you will decide later whether you want to move canada as pr or not. Frankly, at this stage it's better to wait for the express entry application to get completed (assuming that you have received the invitation ITA). Because tourist visa depends on many factors. Like purpose, home ties, etc. Since your express entry profile is in progress, that may impact the home ties scenario. I booked real return ticket for my wife which was fully refundable. Hope this helps. Thanks again. Please subscribe 😊
@@canadadreamers_ Thanks for your reply. We haven't received any ITA (we are in the pool for 10 months - our CRS score is 354 only). What do you suggest should we apply for a tourist visa or not? We don't have any idea what to do. Waiting for your reply. Thanks
@@ManpreetKaur-lj8we Well 354 score is less unless you get something in PNP. You can apply for tourist visa, but it is difficult to convince officer about your intention of visit and going back.
Hi Arpit, Nice detailed video. My question is can this dual intent application be submitted as SOWP (Spousal open work permit) application followed by TRV (both are temporary applications and SOWP is taking long too and hence the question). We already got a first VV refusal. If you have any info or resource to help in this regard. Thanks
Not sure if I fully understand your question. But I guess, to apply for SOWP, your spouse should already be present inside Canada, and you need to apply for inland sponsorship for that.
@@canadadreamers_ Ohh No, SOWP can be applied from outside Canada as well. My question is as SOWP is taking more than 8-9 months. I’m thinking of applying VV as well. But I’ve already received a refusal once.
I appreciate for all your efforts. I am a PR holder trying to apply for visitor visa for my wife and in the document section I don’t see an option to upload invitation letter. Can I upload that in additional documents ?
Hello, thanks for watching. Yes there is no separate section for invitation letter, I attached this with Letter of Explanation, and I think uploaded in other section. Hope this is helpful. Please like share and subscribe 🤞🙏
May I ask a question? I've seen your wife put your bank account in her funds proofs, so I wanna ask if she choose the option YES for the question 'does the travel is sponsored by someone?' in the questionnaire before checklist? and then there will be an additional line for the proof of your bank statement or something like that? Thank you again.
In our 2nd attempt, she said that no one is sponsoring her, and she is completely financially independent. Hope this helps. Apologies for the late response. ☹️
@@ottawa_diaries could be. but you need to mention that you still have some emergency funds, etc. plus your purpose of visit should be strong, and ties to home country too. its tricky sometimes :(
@@canadadreamers_ it is And conflicting as well On one hand strong ties are for sure for husband and on the other one needs to prove that he/she will come back because of such and such reasons (home ties)
Hello brother, thank you for this excellent video. In the visitor visa application, should I mention that I have an active Express Entry profile and have been refused a study permit before?
Hello, thanks for watching our video. Yes please. Mention all the details about your express entry profile and refused study permit. Because IRCC will know this already when they process your file. So it's better to tell them upfront to avoid any issues. Thanks. 😊
Everything was uploaded on the TRV new portal. Nothing was sent through mail. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching out videos, please subscribe if our videos are helpful. 😊
She was in Canada until she received the PR. Fortunately she was able to receive her PR during 4th month of her stay. Otherwise she would have left Canada before TRV expires. You can watch our other video on channel where we announced that she received her PR. Thanks again for watching. Please subscribe 😊
Thanks for the video. How could we purchase the flight tickets and the travel insurance when we are not sure whether the travel visa application will be approved or not?
Hi thanks for reaching out. You can always book a flexible ticket which you can cancel anytime before departure at free of cost. If unfortunately visa is rejected, you can cancel your ticket and get the full refund in your bank account (make sure you contact the airline and confirm the ticket cancellation rules) If visa is approved, and still you feel threatened ticket is costly, you can cancel that once the person has landed to canada, and book a cheaper return ticket for later if in case they need to return for any reason. Getting travel insurance could be like gamble, buy a cheaper one for visa sake. If visa is approved, you can buy a new better policy or continue your existing one. Hope this helps. Please like share and subscribe :)
@@canadadreamers_ Hi Sir. Thanks for useful video and information. Could you please mention the airline from where you have bought the refundable tickets? I am struggling to get one. It would be a great help if you can tell. Also, did you reschedule the tickets or bought new when your first TRV got rejected? Thanks a lot in advance.
@@parthkabariya4804 it was Air Canada. fully refundable category. I did not reschedule for the 2nd time, as the flight date was after the proposed date. so we used the same ticket for both time. cancelled the ticket after my wife came to canada.
@@canadadreamers_Thanks so much for your excellent explanations and details. So that means I can actually book a round trip ticket and depart to Canada but cancel the return ticket and rebook, correct?
Best information 👍 I want to know that I have already applied my supposal visa file on 15th July … now I want to prepare my visit visa file to move soon in Canada …. Can u prepare my file for visit ???? How much is ur fee?? And how much visit visa feee is required ??? I m waiting for Aor …. But without wasting any time I want to prepare my visit visa file …. When I get aor … I will apply immediately for visit … and want to move in Canada
Hello, thanks for reaching out. However I am not any licensed IRCC agent to act on your behalf. All information is available online and you can do it on your own. Hi, What are the chances to get visitor visa if one of the spouse is temporary resident (study visa-PhD) in Canada and other is student in India? Also, is it good to apply through certified travel agencies?
Hello, yes you can try and give a valid reason to visit Canada. and your plans of coming back. Since one person is already a student in India, this can be a good proof that they will return back to india to finish their study. Give a valid reason of visiting your partner, like any celebration, of emotional suport etc, or simply travel together in Canada. Hope this helps. Please like share and subscribe :)
@@canadadreamers_how will one prove strong home ties if one is going to visit spouse and pr application is underway and doesn’t hold any strong ties to home country? Whose UCI will be written? AOR which sponsor received?
The flight ticket mentioned in this video was for your return to your home country. But if you want to return through land borders, you dont need a flight ticket. Just convince them in your application that you will not overstay. Beyond the validity of your visit visa.
Sir, my trv application to appear for a certificate exam from Ontario College of trades has been refused twice, I don't have any friends or relatives to send me invitation, can you please help me in this purpose of visit letter
This is sad to here. I understand how painful it is. I think you may contact to the authority who conducts this certification exam and ask them to give any leads on this. I hope this works out in your case. If you find our videos useful, please subscribe to our channel 🙏😊
For the TRV, it was approved in our 2nd attempt. Applied on 7th Feb 2022 Approved on 11th Feb 2022 They already had our Biometrics information, so it was quick.

Hello, thanks for watching. No, if you hive this reason, the officers will reject your file saying that you do not have any intention of going back. So please come up with a different intent. Hope this helps. Please like share and subscribe 😊

I have question, how long will take to get AOR, nowadays, if you have any information let me know, applied PR file in Oct, 2023. would liket to apply visitor visa. thats why. Thank you
Hi, not sure about the current trend. Generally 2 to 3 months after submitting application. It’s a good idea to wait until AOR to apply for visit visa. We applied after AOR and it got approved. We have 2 detailed videos on visit visa process. Hope this is helpful. Please like share and subscribe:)
Sir our son is PR Canada. We wanted to just visit him for 3-4 months. All documents submitted. But rejected twice with same reasons like whether you will return, etc
Please draft a detailed letter of explanation and include as many points as possible. Your financial details in home country, any property etc to show strong ties. Return tickets (get fully refundable) Insurance Your clear purpose of visit , exact duration with exact dates. (Planned) dont say like 3 to 4 months. Tell your exact plan dates of travel. I would recommend you to please check the details on internet before taking any steps or making any payments online. what if we don't submit return details and stay in Canada for the rest of spousal visa processing? Does it make any difference in processing as she will be here? I haven't submitted my Spousal visa yet but I want't apply dual intent trv as soon as I receive AOR for the spouse visa, so she could movie in at the earliest
Submitting return details makes your TRV case stronger, and if your spouse gets TRV, you guys can go ahead with the Inland sponsorship process as well. Good luck.
@@canadadreamers_ thanks for quick response. Can we convert the Outland as Inland, no right. I mean can't she stay until her process completes and never going back?
@@zenosama721 unfortunately no, we cannot convert an outland application to an Inland application. There is an option to withdraw your Outland application and start the inland process (along with the work permit), but in this case, the process will start from step 1, like AOR, SA, etc. And could be more time taking than your original Outland application. So its not a good idea in my opinion. And, if your spouse is already in Canada on TRV, and your outland application is not completed before TRV expires, your spouse has to leave Canada. Hope this helps.
Hello, thanks for watching. The explanation letter is different for everyone. You can get some ideas from my letters in this video, and write your own letter of explanation according to your situation. Hope this helps.
