Who goes to a country to study without even thinking of the local language.?? No matter if u go to japan, or china or france or italy or canada. When u go to a country u first try to learn the language. And when u intend to integrate in any society u first try to stick with locals. Another thing is that German is not considered a hard to learn language, by any linguists. Its quite similar to english in many ways. generations before have come to germany since the 1950s and 70s . Most of them mallu nurses who had no google and no internet and no phone or an integration course offered by the government as it is today.. and yet those women all integrated fast, they all with no exception learned the language and had their german friends and collegues. They adopted the culture and brought up their children in a german way with indian roots. But first and foremost they Integrated! And thats the key to any society. If one is not ready to integrate, one should not chose to go anywhere. Integration is a must be it in canada or europe. Then only locals feel ok with one being around and respect you. If u just stick to ur indian community going abroad then sooner or later u ll become alienated ( and the best example for this were the problems with indians in australia)! I know lots of people who came to germany and they all have no super linguistic skills and still learned the language fast. Thats why indians in germany of first and second generation have a good reputation regarding integration.Those people mainly got out of the indian community and tried to get german friends and hang out with germans. It all depends on ones own mindset. Nothing else. My cousin is here since 3 years only but got a part time job within 3 months and also his driving licence within the first year. He also learned the language fast cause i pushed him hard. He is far from being a genius but just a normal guy. So anyone can do if one thinks that he or she needs to. And language is a must in any country. By the way getting a licence is also not a big issue. The theory test can be written in english itself and only for the practical part a little bit of german is required. There is a huge reason why getting a licence in germany is not a copy/paste of the indian licence because driving in europe is entirely different from driving in india. Not only the different side but also because here everything is by rule. The flow of the traffic is because everyone knows the rules. There is no country that has highways like germany without seeplimit. So if u dont know they proper rules u can cause a severe accident in the blink of an eye. Thats why i think its very legit to have such a difficult driving test. driving in big cities in germany is not as driving in delhi or mumbai cause there are so many regulations to know about. And germany is thriving as it is being one if the strongest economies in the world because of german rules and regulations. Everything is very well thought through. nothing is for no reason. ✌🏽
