Hey everyone thanks for watching!! This steak challenge was able to happen thanks to our friends Joel and Denika who drove Mitch and I to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and back from Sydney, Nova Scotia!! Much appreciated since I was able to try to get a win on PEI, province #4. Our Friday video this week will feature a giant pizza challenge near Nashville, Tennessee, and the next tour video will feature a donair challenge that I attempted back in Sydney, Nova Scotia alongside Joel, the first and only winner.
Randy Santel seeing John candy, the legendary man ,I jumped straight here and passed about 30notifications...let’s shut up......and watch 😬💪🏻 Awesome, super tasty challenge....love your precision..with little things like drinking the juice on the plate...👌 thanks for an awesome video guys
Randy lose some weight. You should take a few tips from actual competitive eaters such as Beard Meets Food and Matt Stone they could easily teach you how up your game. You got a long way to go
Atlas your reputation isn't for being the fastest eater, you're THE guy with the most victories. and the cleanest. your reputation for annihilating food challenges spans the four corners of the globe! times are meant to be beaten.
I disagree - he comes across as a smug sod! I didn't like the way he mimicked Randy's intro - it was like he was taking the piss. Don't do any more challenges with him, Randy - he is trying to upstage you but you are the dude with over half a million subs.
Randy I love u for finishing every single bit of food from the plate and make it seem clean like there was no food on it .. Appreciate your manners man ...
You should take Joel under your wing I've watched him do food challenges and he has no problem packing the food away if you both team up and do challenges together the people would line up in the morning just to be sure they could get in to watch!!! 😎😎😎
Whoever cooked the meat is a culinary genius. No dryness around the outside and perfectly pink in the middle. Almost impossible with a steak that size, with or without a probe. Kudos.
Celebrity story ... when I was a teenager, I LITERALLY had drinks with John Candy! ... it was at the FireHall Theatre downtown in Toronto, and my Dad was buddies with the piano player there ... so we got (weekday) free tickets anytime we wanted ... John Candy didn't play there as a regular anymore but if he was in town, he'd often dropped by for Improves during the after show (the best part ... some people JUST showed up late for the improves) ... so John does a couple bits on stage and sees the piano guy sitting with me and my Dad ... and sits down ... he orders two beers and double shot of Rum and asks me "Where's your drink" ... my Dad says "He's only 17" ... John slides a beer over to me ... and my Dad nods OK :) I sat with him again probably 3 or 4 more times too, over the next couple years :)
@@eratoisyourmuse659 This guy must shit the equivalent of a vacuum-cleaner hose out the morning after. I bet he uses the 15 second flush for five minutes straight, or he's a wizard with a plunger.
I wish I could Like this twice, just for Joel Hansen mirroring your pre-game prep. Class. That's what separates you from literally everyone else in the competitive food challenge industry. Not just you, but the homies you roll with. Class.
Great job Joel for setting the new record to beat well done. I have never seen someone use a baked potato like bread before smart strategy. Have you thought about trying a 72 oz American steak challenge? I am sure you would have no problem with it.
I eat on mass the same style. People like us, we dont. Never full speed. Its a mental thing. Normal eating tricks the body. Eating like the Abyss? Your done after two bites. Fuck Time records.
Ow man, Now I wanna eat some brocolli.. It looks so yummy yummy.. Edit 1 : Forgot to mention that you are one of the most humble people I have ever seen or met.. God bless you and all your loved ones forever :)
Randy you are a legend. chugging that beer at the end is just a next level of proving you are the man! keep up the amazing work dude! I get hungry just watching your videos...
Randy you were just one second more than the Big Texan 72 oz steak challenge. I liked when you drank the steak sauce/juice from the plate. I do that often. I just love the meat juices.
Props to you Randy. I watched alot of your videos before following. This video showed the true side of comp eating comradery and I am proud to perpetuate that culture
Ha ha, Randy's face at the very last second of the video. I don't know if it was instant regret for the beer chug, or if he was about to let out a huge belch. 😂😂😂
@@MickeyKnox bro, that is a very valid point, much respect. However if my memory serves me correctly, John Candy had to eat the steak which included the cat and gristle at the end and the meat itself was 96 ounces, I could be wrong however...
Seriously, I am so astonished as to what the human body is capable of. These two gladiators of the culinary world are truly amazing to me. I mean, how?
I wonder why the baked potatos over the mashed or fries? I'm assuming it's a strategic choice because who is gonna prefer the taste/texture of a plain baked potato over mashed or fries?
