@@kendagoatt I'm a late reply but basically the two of them developed a quite friendly relationship throughout the competition this season. Barrie is often seen as a very fatherly-type figure but he is not actually the father of any of the contestants there. Later on actually he and Trevor team up twice, furthering their closeness both as cooks and as people. I think Trevor even called Barrie "dad" at some point because he resonates that energy with him

Update: The red team won, and the white team was forced to face a squid ink pasta pressure test. Prior to the beginning of the test, Miranda, as team captain, got the chance to save one of her team members or herself. She chose to save herself and Kimberly was eliminated during the pressure test.

Miranda's leadership is more on the authoritative side, while Justine is more democratic, asking for her team's ideas, thus giving the latter's members confidence and effectivity as a group. While Miranda's style could prove to be efficient on certain occasions, its main downsides are limiting your team's effectivity, and creativity, and the risk of antagonizing your team.

Honestly Barrie is probably one of the best chefs in that competition almost everything he did for the first time he would nail it and come in the top 3
