When you are on private property, the property owner sets the rules about the taking of photographs or videos. If you disobey property owners' rules, they can order you off their property (and have you arrested for trespassing if you do not comply). its under the sign bmp
Hubba hubba the ones who get humiliated are the ones who make a big deal of him filming... don't be a fuckin goof then you won't get sunofabitchfotigerized. Just be a normal human.
Hubba hubba The only way to be humiliated on a videotape is by your own behavior .... there's always the option of walking away or shutting the f*ck up to not humiliate yourself . The only thing left afterwards is a goof standing around talking to themselves .
Well..the vid clearly shows the sign (req'd by law) on the door that says they use cameras. If you don't accept that or have a problem with it you don't have to enter the store (no one's making you). Stores have not only the right to do it but they have a legal responsibility to protect their employees. (most people don't like the idea of being video'd at work-much less shared on the internet without their consent. ) It's actually not (just) a civil matter where you risk getting sued but can also be a criminal matter as this could be considered criminal harassment.
Being in the car business for years... I bet he knows his stuff, and probably does a great job as good as anyone else who charges triple !!! Go to a pretty shop and pay more for that shop, pay for the leather couch, the big screen tv and the pretty uniforms... Just my 2 cents I own a car dealer and have a shop (just for my vehicles) but I have an older guy who comes in and his shop is a mess but he does the best work ever. When I was a teen, there was a local guy who reminds me of this guy,his work was top notch and he gave me the lowest prices around !! So,you cant judge a book by its cover..Remember that..If you like to waste more money and get ripped off then go to someone who will charge you 10 times the price and rip you off for parts you dont need.. Again,I don't know him but many guys who have shops just like his are the best of the best..Remember the G.Q guy you go to,is charging you fo his $500 tennis shoes and the smug look on his face, you pay for !
John Luke is an exact replica of the mechanic i started my apprenticeship with i swear to god i worked with the guys doppleganger from the cigrits to the untamed silver stallion on his head, this one was a trip for me
A year ago I had bought a very clear clean plate covers. recently police officer fine me $110 and told me to take it off . How it is fair to canadian tire to sale something illegal if the company knows it is not allowed
@@MrJeb707 No it's called busting his fucking ass all day and dead tired. I know the feeling. If he was on the tablets he'd be floating around working with a smile on his face.
Under Regulation of Parks By-Law 111-2008 on the St Thomas website, there is reference to video recording on page 4, part 3 section 13, taking pictures or recording video of someone without their consent is not permitted in any parks or recreation areas within the city. However, given that inside the store is private property, as owned by the company, they are permitted to request that you not record, and order you off the property if you do. (They can order you off their property for any reason.) And so while the bylaw she mentioned doesn't apply to the inside of a store, they are permitted to prevent you from returning, even going as far as calling police if you attempt to enter.
Then it is illegal for Crappy Tire to have video cameras all over their store video taping you against your will according to the bi-laws of St Thomas too.
No, because no one forced you to enter Canadian tire. Plus, they post on their door that cameras are in use, so you're not being recorded without knowledge. If you don't like to be recorded, then don't go to Canadian tire. Consumers have the right not to shop somewhere.
Its illegal to video tape on private property which you were on, if they ask you to stop you have to, common fucking knowledge. If they don't ask you then don't stop. If its not private property and your in public you're good. Also if they ask to not be on camera on private property, they shouldn't be.
Again and again, IT IS ILLEGAL TO RECORD ANYONE BY ANY TYPE OF MEDIA INSIDE OF PROPERTY THAT YOU DO NOT OWN OR CONTROL THIS INCLUDES ANY PROPERTY THAT HAS PUBLIC ACCESS. An example would be someone could film THE OUTSIDE of your property from a roadway or sidewalk without violating anyone's rights. The moment they STEPPED INSIDE of your property they need your permission to record. Also business's have a right to protect their property from theft is one of the bigger reason the do not want any recording done. Go to Las Vegas and try and record inside of a casino and see what happens. They may confiscate your devices and have you arrested and barred from the casino and even barred from all casino's because they do pass this information on to other casino's.
C M sr, WRONG. As long as one party is aware of, and has the camera on their person, it is LEGAL to record. If the private business prohibits this, they can ask him to stop and/or leave.
it's weird. when Chris was on his way to pick up the bouncy castle, I asked him to please not film it. We didn't store the bouncers at our shop. He was cordial and obliged. Why do these businesses have to get aggressive and make up laws....
Canadian tire employees violently attacked and hand cuffed a man for not wearing a mask. I was aggressively told im not allowed my backpack in the store and must leave it at customer service. I asked why and she said it's illegal to have them in any store. Ive never been told to leave my back pack at any store.
I think you need to baby sit Gatlin more so than John Luke, and I mean big times bud. Gatlin is definitely a Big Dumb Goof. Billseff, Nelson and John Luke are the good guys.
Cameras are everywhere any time you are in a public place you are being recorded! They need to put a keg of vagisil in the break room as I suspect that not so fresh feeling is making these old bats bitter!
Canada is a "one-party" legal environment when it comes to recording. Source: Section 184(2)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada. Subsection 2a exempts people who are a party to a communication from the injunction in Subsection 1. What this means is that you are allowed to record, without the consent of the other party any conversation that you yourself are a party to. This means that you cannot surreptitiously record a conversation between two other parties if you are not a party to that conversation. This has nothing to do with any trespassing statutes, which are a separate issue and not actually related to the legality of your recording activities, but they can probably exclude you for any reason, and if you refuse to comply, you can be charged with trespass. So if you are discovered recording and are asked to leave, you should do so.
Canadian tire jobsworths........BMP "A jobsworth is a person who uses their job description in a deliberately uncooperative way, or who seemingly delights in acting in an obstructive or unhelpful manner."
Not watched a pug video in months because I was bored of all the bullshit he creates, baby babbling and shopping videos. First one I've watched, nothing much has changed. Difference between CT filming and you, they record for security and don't upload their videos for the world to see and monetise them. You do.
why do you never mention to the store staff that if its illegal by bylaw that they them selves are breaking that law by filming you on their security cameras without your consent .
Its true, St.Thomas has a picture taking bylaw they enacted about 3 or 4 years ago that no public pictures without everybodys consent that is in the image. How the hell they managed to get that past the legal eagles I'll never know. Shit Thomas indeed. edit:just went looking for the bylaw, can't find it. Google news is a pain to search anymore, so hopefully that nonsense got struck down.
Pug u can film anywhere in public and in places open to the public like this store u were in.They do not need your permission to film them.Nobody is entitled to privacy in a public place.Trust me.Ive been there.
Poor , John Luke, the fellow appeared discombobulated , and totally worn out on working on Bussy, I hope he wasn't being paid by the hour. Because it looked to me like he was going for a couple of months to get her done. of course he wanted to make more money on something else. But come on now , when you give your word you can do something , keep your Fricking Word. EH. Cheer OH. .Mate.
Sometimes it’s not what’s legal or not. It’s just common curtesy. Most people do not want anything thing to do with being part of your movie and want to have be able to go out and about without ending up on one of your stupid movies and you should respect that.
It's just funny watching this old macainic over younder in this part of Canada reminds me of how things were growing up in my part of Jersey lol you guys are a little behind I'm the times and I love it the shit with this old man obviously drunk talking shit and fixing cars at his garage you just don't see that anymore in The USA first of all there is not really many small repair shops anymore and the ones that are left are struggling bad unfortunately the corporations took over and new car dealers and people forgot how things were and completely ruined it now someone like this guy would be shut down and run out of town period we need to bring people like this old man back
You can video record any where you want and the most they can do is trespass you from the store. But thats not easy to do if you are leaving anyways. What are they going to do/Force you to stay until the cops come?FK um.
Sorry buds. When YT makes me sit through full length commercials in the middle of the vid is when I quit. Nice knowin ya buds, I hope you are getting some money. I notice that even the vids that show illegal drug use have commercials when I know for a fact the content creators aren't getting paid. Too much fuckery for me. Out.
