Hi Friends!
I am back with another video about visa application for Canada Tourist Visa. In this video I shared my experience about how this visa , in my opinion, is the most difficult and most time consuming visa I applied for in my entire visa application journeys before.
I discussed the requirements, process, fees, timeline, and some other helpful tips in the Visa Application Center.
I really wanted to create this video because as an applicant myself, I have had questions that were unanswered along this journey and I wanted to give clarity about it.

For those who’s been to Canada in the last 10yrs or those who have a valid US visa, pwede na rin ETA online. I was eligible for this, nauna lang talaga ako mag apply for Canada Visa before the announcement. This video will be helpful sa mga applicants na hindi eligible for ETA. Thank you!

Miss Dianne ,, i am super thankful for this video because it made me realize how far i've gone through with my visa application. you clearly mentioned the step by step processes which i already underwent some of it before watching this video. hindi pa po ako tapos sa pag upload ng documents because i am still waiting for my aunt to send me her documents to support my application. Madali lang kumuha ng tourist visa! Pero kung ang purpose nyo ay kumuha ng tourist visa para maka-punta ng Canada at magtrabaho, yan ang imposible! Maka-hanap ng trabaho na tourist visa ka lang.

Swerte talaga ng taga Cebu at taga Metro Manila kasi doon lang sa lugar nila ang VFS at Canadian Embassy samantalang sa mga taga Mindanao more hassle at gastos at more time to process still waiting my biometric to finish and next is passport submission

Hello Ms. Dianne, I filled up the 5257 form sa computer shop. Validated it,and succesfully got the barcode and saved. My issue is, once I opened it at home nawala yung barcode page, pero nakalagay is Validated (YES) naman. I dunno kung baka dahil hindi updated yung softwares ko. Buti I have printed copy w/ the barcode. So I scanned and signed nalang. Pede kaya ung scanned file nlng i-Upload ko??

Hello, in my opinion, if you have the printed copy and you will scan it and upload, it wont be a problem. Otherwise hindi naman tatanggapin ng site yung doc if hindi pwede. Try mo muna upload and see what it says.

Hi! Nung nag apply ako, when they requested my passport, wala naman na akong binayaran :) kasi pick up yung pinili ko. Pero I think meron bayad if through LBC yung pipiliin mo or if you will opt to avail their SMS services for status.

I usually do 4-6 months before my intended travel kasi yun yung mas mura. Also with this application, nag purchase ako nung refundable and cancellable para safe.

You spoke a lot in (Tagalog?) at the end of the video without sumarizing the total time it took (in English).. How much time in total did it take since the moment you applied to the moment you had your passport with valid visa? Was that the approx 1 month? Or more with the steps you list after? My girlfriend and I started her application 2 days ago, she lives in Bohol and we're traveling around Palawan until 45 days from now. Is it easier for her to do some steps in Cebu (or Manilla)? At Canadian embassies? I Don't want her to have to ship her passport all the way to Canada, that'll take too long as we want her to fly out in 55-60 days from now.. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Biometrics muna then wait ka pa for them to notify you if ico-collect nila passport mo. If they message you for passport collection, automatic approved yan :)

Paano po kapag baguhan lang wala pa pong mga lumang visa bukod tanging passport lang ang meron tapos yung bank account wala pang 6 months pero medyo may sapat naman na laman, ok lang po ba yun na wala pang 6 months? At yung mag sponsor may sariling bahay pwede bang wala na yung itinerary

Hi! Mag-i-email sila sayo if it's for collection na pero medyo matagal. So what I did is I went to VFS customer support and I started a chat with an agent there to check the status of my application and that's when I knew na its for collection na. Just make sure you screenshot your conversation with the agent kasi minsan hinahanap ng guard yung confirmation. Hope this helps! :)

After I submitted my original passport after the Original Passport Request letter, I got an email that my application status has been updated in the IRCC to "application approved." Does this mean my passport has been stamped already? I ask because I want to book a ticket already sana but I want to be sure.

I didn't have any experience on this (having updated directly on IRCC website) but if you went through VFS, you can chat their customer service if your passport is already available for pick up / release. In my case, I was only able to know that I got approved when they released my passport.

Hi! when I applied (Mid 2023) the guideline is within 30 days from their request, dapat ma-provide mo yung passport.

As far as I remember, GCkey is already your IRCC account. Then VFS canada for the biometrics and submission of passport.

Hi, I guess needed talaga kasi may category na "proof of travel" and naka-indicate as one of the examples under that category. Siguro refundable nalang kunin mo like what I did. Hope this helps! :)

Hello po, how about po yung magtatravel to USA then want to go to Canada to visit friends pwede na po ba yung eTA or Canadian Visa po talaga? Hi! if nagamit niya yung US visa niya before visitng Canada AND valid pa rin yung US visa for the duration of intended stay sa Canada, I think eTA is ok. Also, if nabigyan siya ng eTA I think eligibile naman siya kasi di naman mag-i-issue ng eTA sa mga non-eligible applicants. Hope I answered your question. Take care!

Yes they will, pero ako kasi trinack ko lang online and meron silang chat support that you can ask regarding the status of your passport. Minsan kasi ready na passport pero wala pang email, so mas maganda mag ask sa chat support din. Thats what I did :)

Yung Imm5257 and Imm5654e po ba are different sa mga finill up-an dun sa ircc account?

imm5257 and imm5654e forms are from IRCC website. I think personal details are needed to be filled out in IRCC website in order to land dun sa page where you can upload these forms. But all are in IRCC website.

Yung sa hotel po pwede ba airbnb? Saka kung say 1 month ka dun sa Canada, dapat ba 1 month din yung hotel booking mo?

Yes pwede naman airbnb basta may address ka na mapo-provide sa kanila. Technically yes, dapat kung ilang days dineclare mo na stay, ganun din dapat booking mo sa accomodation.

Hindi na, from the date of notice to submit, meron ka lang 30 days to submit the passport. No need for appointment na.

Hello, hindi ko rin sure kasi matagal talaga after biometrics. As mentioned, mine took almost 1 month before sila nag request ng passport

Hi mam. Planning po ako mg apply ng tourist visa, meron na po akong invi letter from my aunt notarized na dn po this march lang, imm5645 (downloaded palang). Ng try po ako gumawa ng IRCC account pero ayaw po I accept yung telephone #. Hindi ko po alam where to start. 😂 😂 😂

I just want to ask po, I'm a student po and i already have a US tourist visa and by july magbabakasyon po ako sa new jersey and my mom ask me to get a canadian visa kasi we will spend 3 days in canada po, since student pa ako wala ako business registration my mom is going to spend all of my expenses in the US. May chance po ba ako ma issue han nang canadian visa? And what will be the requirements?

Hi! Regarding the chance, I can't guarantee pero I know that if you have a valid US visa, pwede ka na mag-apply ng Canadian Visa (ETA) online lang siya. Recently lang yun nilabas (Q2 yata of 2023).
