I don't think anyone wants to be responsible for causing the extinction of a species. But the human race is not responsible for the imminent demise of polar bears or walruses. The videos of the walruses suggest to me there are so many of them the overcrowding leads to individuals being forced over the cliffs.
@@kymmoore853 extinction happens for alot of reasons meteors and humans are only 2 and they have killed nowhere near as many species as simple competition, animals need to be competitive in their environment to be successful if they aren't competitive they die out and are replaced by animals that are.
joeofdoom I was only using two examples here. Poaching is a serious issue that has had dramatic effects on Gorilla, Rhino, Elephants etc. and nothing to do with ‘climate change’. @Jack Richardson You seem to be implying that because Crockford has only mentioned polar bears in two previous peer reviewed and published papers, that her data cannot be accepted, or that as a biologist, she isn't competent to determine polar bear numbers then point out that these numbers are currently rising, even though fauna and flora counting is something taught to first year students and even someone like yourself could probably do it with supervision. You have a couple of choices in this regard; you can attack the data or you can attack the interpretation, but attacking the person just makes you look like an ignorant fool.

Even if I agree that limiting academical findings on ideological grounds is frankly ridiculous, problem isn't the singular bears here. Real news behind problems like plastic pollution and loss of icesheets, rising sealevels is just neglect and apathy of the political elite... which is then taken advantage by the big companies and international money. Yet all these issues could be easily taken care of if only mankind would put their back to it. Limit the huge amount of plastic waste flowing from asian countries by actually offering biodegradable alternatives for example. Fix the slums, educate the poor, offer services and jobs. Make common global effort into cleaning up the oceans by making industries to clean planet instead of polluting it, reduce overfishing by implementing quotas to huge fishing fleets from Asia and Europe...

The warmer their environment is, the less food they need to keep warm. The warmer their environment is, the larger their home range becomes and we know that some Polar bears and Grizzlies bears are matting, and surviving together. Antarctic sea ice shrinks and antarctic sea ice grows back. In times of antarctic sea ice shrinkage, Polar bears thrive. The more sea ice there is, the more food Polar bears need to survive. Polar bears faced with starvation will eat their young, they always have and always will. Government Funded Scientists and government Funded Media would have you believe otherwise. Their Lying!
I'm a Canadian by birth and I moved to Australia years ago when I could see the pseudo socialist, oppressive state that my home country was turning into.
