I’ve applied for LMIA work visa and did biometric in December and I still didn’t have any answers, the status of my application is “we are processing your background check”, it’s been this status for almost two months. I am from Brazil but applied from Portugal and collected biometrics in Madrid. Today the processing time is 10 weeks for Brazil and 6 weeks for Portugal, what could be happening and why is it taking so long, any idea?
