It's always best to visit on a weekend in the summer months because there's a very good chance of seeing some of the aircraft actually fly. The downside is that many are often away at airshows on those days as well. It took me 20 years to actually see the inside of the Lanc because whenever I was there it was either flying at a show, doing rides, or shut down for winter maintenance.
